Even Canibus...He couldnt get it right until his 4th album. Fugees didnt get it right until their 2nd album. Nobody ever expected The Fugees to shut the game down like they did when their 2nd album dropped. 2Pac as well....He didnt get it right until his 3rd album.

Gotta let the artist grow with time before we can get greatness. Michael Jackson had all that practice with his first 6 albums but didnt make greatness on his own till his 7th album with Off The Wall. Superiority by his 8th album with Thriller.

I agree with a lot of the comments on this thread. While I like this album, there just seems to be something missing. Some of the production is so good, but then the lyrics kinda throw me off. I hate the interludes, too, but I've hated skits and interludes since the 90s lol

Chicago Boy is one of my favorite songs of there year.

listening to the album again this morning and its good but nothings really memorable to me outside of Chicago Boy.
its not a sexy song but she sounds sexy, sultry, confident etc on it that i don't really feel for the rest of the album.

Yeah it's the tones she uses. I feel overall she needs to work on that writing though, wtf!

She got everything else but I went back and played BMO and you're right, this song is fire and if they don't use it as a single like they should I know it's gonna be fire as part of a few soundtracks or something. Song is dope!
