They make shyt too grand and obvious. If they really wanted to give that lady some money they could’ve did it in a way where the manager wouldn’t know.

When I worked in a restaurant, tip pool was automatic and went to bus boys, bartenders and hosts/hostesses eventually.

it was a way for restaurants to pay workers less and supplement it with server tips.

cuz when I started it was just bus boys getting tip pool.

but yea that’s grimy if it wasn’t a policy,from the start.
