“I was told that I was going to be giving my cash over to my shift manager, and I would be taking home 20%,” said Brandt.

right…I don’t understand why he had to call the manager and ask anything…just tip the bytches and that’s it
Unless he had 4K in cash how would the manager not know? :mjtf: When they put in the payment they gonna see that big Ass 4K tip and probably thank she made a mistake.

you can’t hide a 4K card tip

what is your point? of course he can take out a loan if he is worth billions

you said he wasn't liquid, and i pointed out how billionaires leverage their stock portfolio for liquidity.

of course, he doesn't even have to use his stock portfolio if a bank knows your are a billionaire why wouldn't they give you a loan
my point was his wealth is his business so the representation with rice isn't the best example

It doesn’t matter what they want. They should be paid a livable wage from their employer and get tips for doing an amazing job, not because it’s expected due to dumb ass tipping culture.

They knew the salary before they accepted the job. If its okay to them all the livable wage talk is bullshyt.

That person who set them down makes more money then them for less work. I’m sure they never shared they pay with them on a slow day.

fukk outta here. If it’s never been a culture of shared tips then we ain’t starting none when it’s in y’all favor.

This is my thinking.

If the total tip from the whole party was $150, guarantee...no one would care.

You can't change up policy based on tip size. The policy should be set in stone...you help out, you get paid. If you don't contribute, you get nothing.

Tho i wholeheartedly agree, but chefs don’t make sub minimum wage. It only make sense for the server because they’re getting paid next to nothing from payroll. Which is again a dumbass culture we have here in America because the chefs and cooks are literally doing most of the work.

Tip culture just needs to die because everyone is expecting a tip for any type of service now. Now even before we get served ! :snoop: If I have to split a tip with the whole staff while everyone is getting paid normally I would just fukking leave.
