It’s some details missing from this story. Like why the other server isn’t being named and referenced in the story if the money was for both of them?

Seems like he knew this server, probably from previous visits, enough that he called ahead to set this thing up but did he request her to be their server for this party? Seems like if he liked her that much he should have just given her a Christmas gift instead of leaving it all as a tip. I find it incredulous that 44 regular joe ass ppl could and would all leave $100 each on the tip, so I’m thinking this Wise guy left a good bulk of that money because the server is probably was good at her hon but also probably attractive as well....ie he simpin on this one. I need more info.

The other waitress probably split her 2100 with the crew like a dumbass. fukk this dime a dozen penny paying ass job.

1. Back of the house doesn't get tips, whether 4 meals or 40. Their pay is their pay.
2. Why that isn't the same as front of the house people...good luck on getting that answer.
3. Servers sometimes pool tips, but it's always explicitly understood way beforehand so there's no confusion.
4. Tipping arguments are just misdirection from owners, who simply don't want to pay servers a salary and will squeeze them for all they can.
5. People keep falling for the misdirection.

Reason #18726191 on why American tipping culture is stupid. Restaurants are greedy by design…pay their workers sub minimum wage and tell them to live off tips and when given a large tip you get it confiscated.
