Like the chefs didn't cook the food. Imagine cooking food for 40+ people but the people who carry it from A to B get all the shine.Respect to them, they’ll find another job easily in this market.
FOH…them other ppl ain’t do shyt
I would've hit off the kitchen staff with $100 each and told the manager to kick rocks
You would be left with 100 dollars. How much people you think in the kitchen lolWhat the fukk you talkin about did you read and comprehend the articleThey make shyt too grand and obvious. If they really wanted to give that lady some money they could’ve did it in a way where the manager wouldn’t know.
That’s not how tipping at a restaurant works. Do you tip the cook when you go out to eat?Like the chefs didn't cook the food. Imagine cooking food for 40+ people but the people who carry it from A to B get all the shine.
What happened isSomething’s off. I’m sure one person didn’t wait on 40 people. Some other helped and the restaurant probably asked her to share and she refused

The customer did. The waitress went outside and told the customers they made they spilt it. Customer came back and asked for it back and gave it to the young lady himself.
they fired her cause they said “she shouldn’t have told the customer”bytch fukk you, give me my money. fukking manager probably makes a little over 2100 in a month
It’s already a unhealthy dynamic. Since the pandemic started the waiters/waitress been the ones on the short end of the stick restaurants wasnt packed with indoor seating and was mainly take out. Cooks still got paid. While the waiters got shytThe customer gave that money without understanding the dynamics of tipping and how the service industry exploits the workers having a unspoken contract regarding wages and tips.
Only reason theyre makin her split the moneys is that itd cause resentment and a loss of morale among the backline staff and ppl would quit/demand higher wages/a cut of tipping and that fukks up the whole model of exploitation which wouldnt even be an issue if they paid livable wages in the 1st place
