Shared some of it? Why?
because the people in the kitchen had to prepare 40 meals all at once. i worked in a restaurant when i was a kid and i always thought it was fukked up that i had to slave away in the kitchen only for a waitress to get tipped over how good a job i did with their food. only on rare occasions did savvy people come to the kitchen to tip us personally. it was especially fukked up when they would seat a customer 5 minutes before closing then bounce after getting the check, while the rest of us had to stay behind and clean up all the dishes and shyt.

I get that, but tbh the waiter could've broke bread with the kitchen staff and the manager still would've found a reason to fire her because they didn't get shyt. :dead:

I was on the fired employees side at first then I thought about it and realized how selfish waiters and waitresses are. If they had such a large group that means all other employees had to work to make everything run smooth, especially the folks in the back cooking all that shyt in a timely manner and the dishwashers.

In the end all of the fault is one the owners and system for not paying a good wage and I still think tipping shouldn’t exist

Wait hol up

2 helped. So who cooked the food? Don't the kitchen staff get a cut of the tips as well? They cooked the damn food
nah, cooks rarely get tips. they do get paid more than waitresses as a bottomline though because of that. but ultimately waitresses come out ahead unless it's just really slow.

They didn’t cook all that food in a timely manner though, that’s not fair to the kitchen staff:yeshrug:
Tough fukkin titty. Life aint fair

I'm sure that's not the first time a large party has come into that place to eat. They saw that tip amount and wanted a piece. Cooks don't never get tips and they get paid a higher hourly rate than waiters/waitresses.

Charge that shyt to the game
