I usually don't try to post an opinion in threads about shyt I don't like.

I'd rather spend time discussing, breaking down and reading/sharing opinions about stuff I DO like.

But.... it's weird. :patrice:

I love the lyrics,
I love the content
I love the beats

But I don't like these cats' delivery.

And honestly this may be legit the first time that's ever happened to me. :jbhmm:

This one needs time to digest. Not a big fan of these 2 MC's but it's a good project overall.

Not feeling "Peppertree" and "Sqeegee"... and "Stonefruit" was really weird on first listen. It grows a bit since.

My 2 favourites: "Falling Out The Sky" and "Black Sunlight".

Give it time breh. I wasnt really fukking with Woods when I first heard him either.

Elucid's delivery should catch you on the first listen though :patrice:

I can tell I'm going to be digesting this all year. Similar to Shrines last year. I love how it sounds like an Armand Hammer album, not an Armand Hammer album with current-Alch from his recent collabs. He came to their vibe and nailed it. Love the snares on here too.

I don't get Earl, man. The verse isn't bad but like...you can only go left so many times before you fall off the boat. "Underground" production as it stands today - from Navy Blue to DJ Muggs to Alch to Griselda to Roc Mari shyt - is all on Earl's wave. Moody shyt, dark shyt, etc. Yet instead of rapping over that shyt and taking the easy W, he's out here rapping over Albanian wedding music and sounding like he's ODing on zannies. Breh is passing up major bags. An Alch/Earl album, with him rapping on that I Don't Like shyt, I Don't Go Outside tip? Classic alert.

Y’all will call trap wack and listen to incoherent ramblings and say it’s dope because Alc laced it .

shyt is buns
If you don't like it that's cool but folks have been listening to Billy Woods and Elucid for over a decade, we didn't need Alchemist to convince us whether they dope or not
