I bet if they make you come in for some bullshyt they gonna see what's up tho

Last time I went in it was so they could figure out who all needed to work from home..It’s majority of older da civilians here...Can’t really go around barking they are all retired somebodies and I’ll likely be working with them when I retire :russ:...And the Drills and Instructors have their own lanes this is a cake job...now in a maneuver unit that’s different...And all the schools and everything are on hold to include ours
So would you say that Ranger Mess SGT isn't that more squared away than a regular Mess SGT? Is everything better behind the fence, For example the SF DEFAC is miles better than an army DeFac their gyms is better all their equipment was better.

What was your opinion of Delta Force? I heard all their shyt is the best in the army. What do you think of their pogues? could they keep up with the Unit guys or were they just good at their jobs but not great at combat.

Mess SGTs Are differ they best I ran across were always someone aide of did competitions...The best ones other than that I saw would usually be assigned to small post overseas where they could kind of do their own thing. The ones at large post like Bragg and Hood just Managed more personnel.

and nope as far as support I would say typically the only difference between a ranger support and a non ranger support is generally the ranger would have higher pt scores...I’d rather have someone who placed took care of their personnel and the mission than just the mission. A Ranger will place the mission first.

the reason you noticed the SF mess halls were better is simply funding and they generally feed less people.

ODA is just the best of the best outside the box thinkers with a huge budget and access to the most cutting edge equipment and training.

Same thing for me in general... I got tired of seeing people at their worst then catching them on a better day. I knew people better than I ever wanted to in the military.

While that's been some of the best experiences I've ever had, at the same time its exhausting in ways people could never understand. I don't WANT to know people that well anymore. I knew guys I hated better than I knew my own family.

That's how my ex and I fell through.

It happens on the outside too though. That "in sickness and in health" thing is a bytch :unimpressed:

Fact is, people DONT know how to be hurt. They have to learn. I went from being first into everything and ready to jump through walls for people to not being able to brush my own hair. My relationship was based on us both being strong individuals and better together. Sounds dope but the dynamics of going from working out together to watching someone struggled to get out of bed don't really make it to movies that often and people get blindsided by what life looks like.

Oh well no kids :blessed: and got me investing in the finest strip clubs Killeen, Texas had to offer :skip:

yep when I was in the hospital I felt like a damn baby. I still hate that I can't do things that I used to do because of my injuries, everytime I have a good day and discover that I can half do something I couldn't I have a bad day and can't.
The fukked up thing you're not like a car even if they "fix you" you're still low key fukked up.

I have random back spasms for no reason.

bruh I made it all the way to AIT before I learned that a “health care specialist” was just the new name for “Combat Medic” smh. I got smoked the first day because of that shyt. We got out of the cab at the 232nd battalion building. A Drill told us to fall into the formation that was there. I saw the signs that said “welcome to the school of the combat medic” I told them that I thought I was in the wrong place and needed to be wherever the “health care specialists” school was at. Them bytches almost made me get in the sand pit over that shyt lol.
:mjlol:
I knew dudes in Basic that got that rude awakening some of them didn't take it so well. One dude was on suicide watch. I overheard them talking and they said the difference was you had to have the Mike -six Lima SQI, if you didn't you were Infantry with band-aids.

I was an SF pogue and they acted funny around me too. They're super racists. Again the job got done, but they let racist graffiti in the bathrooms and I saw the OK sign in some of their pictures. It's not like they're all white and a lot of their privates are young and they have a decent amount of Black support staff.

Is that the only time you were around them?

They actually moved in with us before the deployment. They live in the upstairs of our HHC building. Things were tense and we kept big numbers around their stairwell in case they tried to talk shyt. Eventually everyone relaxed and we would look at each other’s gear and shyt because we got to try out the MK-48’s, plate carriers, and M320’s.

we worked around each other in Afghanistan but it was mostly random calls to overwatch each other. I got snatched up during a cordon and search and had to go on a 4 man patrol/search through a village and up a hill to check out a POO site (point of origin). They walk like I jog.

They saved us all during an attack and we teamed up to clear our base and they were cool enough to give up some of their guys to our task force to augment and teach.

Other than that we just hated being out at night when they were. They killed a lot and just left the damage behind. I think most of their killing came because they rolled dark no matter what and nobody could hear their Stryker IFV’s. They wouldn’t call it in so you might end up rolling up to something shot up and a bunch of lamenting women or there something might be waiting for you, instead. When they were involved in mascal’s I would go up to help assist in treating them. We tried to give blood for one of their guys but he ended up bleeding to death.

I’ve heard all kinds of crazy shyt about their racist reputation. I was a little worried when I saw one of my AIT instructors came from regiment. He ended up teaching me a lot but he was Mexican not white.

they also had the asi for the flight medics which was I want to say F3 or something. I remember all of the medics in my HHT except for the PSG would re-enlist for that M6 or F3 option...But they all hated working in the hospital when we had to rotate them thru...I would love to work at the clinic/hospital I would of been on so many chicks.

Right now I am an OPS SGM aka I stay at home and make sure fragos are ok :russ:. I’ve been an instructor and 1SG for training companies. That was my last position here...When they say instructor or recruiter gets you to SFC/MSG but Drill gets you to SGM they were not lying...

you aren’t missing out on anything. With a year long school you like either have a cyber/intel/medical speciality that is highly beneficial to you...way better than a damn CAV Scout.
If you're an OPS SGM (that's impressive) you got to be the cool SGM. For example when I was a Private I had to do area beautification on a cat 5 day. The German CSM Fleabag made me put on that hot ass Beret. I had to go to battalion to pick up some mail and the Ops SGM saw me sweating with my E-tool in my hands and said It's bullshyt, I know. One time I had to remove the gravel from one side of the road to the other with my E-Tool. Maybe it was because he was Black, but to acknowledge that this was dumb made me think highly of him. I told myself if I ever got to his level I was at least express the truth to my people.

I wanted to work in a clinic so bad but never got the chance. Once I got my 5 I enjoyed teaching my guys but I hated the admin stuff. They saw I had a lot of line time so I had to be the Evac NCO (right back where I started lol) instead of a senior line. I ended up reclassing to scout and loved every minute of it until I got out. Nobody understood my decision but I didn’t care lol. I still ended up sitting around most days and talking shyt like before lol.

And
@Wiseborn

That Afghanistan reenlistment, I mentioned before, was actually for m6 school. When I got back to Campbell I found out that my orders had been killed. I didn’t get r&b until month 9 of the deployment. Battalion hid the fact that was supposed to stay home and PCS to madigan/Lewis. I went back and finished the year and went to do my thing and found out my orders were dead smh. I was heated for a month straight. I made points for 5 but was bitter as fukk. I was supposed to be smashing everything
:mjcry:

One of my guys eventually became a flight medic. I still think they steal all our credit lol

Yeah I loved my time at Group. In fact when I was there they wanted to do some kind of modified selection for people who would be in group like it was for the SOT-A, Psy Ops Civil Affairs and CST who ran with an ODA, Plus of course a ODA Team SGT could Hire and Fire at will so you had to perform.

But the guys in 528th may have been authorized Crye uniforms and Salomons but as you said other than slightly higher PT scores and learning to think outside of the box working with C-Teams and even JSOC support you learn a lot. There weren't any obvious shytbags in those units, You wanted to be there and there was less bullshyt. But yeah other than that it was normal.

That's what dudes who worked at the 44th Med said. They hated the drama of working in a ward. They said they actually had less time off because the women would sham.

One of my guys ended up at the White House Communications Unit. Homie came to us from Fort Shafter in HI I don't think he ever deployed.

You didn't have any spies in Battalion no 71L's to give you a heads up. My AIT drill SSG Jollivette (Black dude of course) told us to make friends in low places. Buy General's secretaries cups of coffee say hello shyt like that. I played office politics well. We had a Black shytbag solider that got an extra 30 days of free leave because someone in Battalion liked him. When he finally came to him instead of hating (glad he wasn't my solider though) I asked him who hooked him up. He told me, She started to get a cup of coffee from me. Her fat ass got out but I met the other chicks there.

I’m not a SGM. Just a MSG who has already done 1SG time. They don’t have any positions for me and I can’t PCS last year but don’t want to either...The army is so stupid at times but when you look back over the years it’s like everything was just bullshyt and a game...Like you pride yourself on making sure your Soldiers grow and I legit be happy when I see they get out and do well for themselves...I had leadership that didn’t like the fact I would say it’s more to life than the Army and you have to take care of yourself go to sick call and appointments and if your leaders have an issue with it they can see me...My last Company CDR and me couldn’t stand each other...He was a young CPT right out of Ranger school and he thought he was actually going to “Command” a bunch of Senior Enlisted and Officers...I said Sir you are here to sign leave packets and awards let them handle their day to day business...shyt hurt his pride I guess.

It was worse in the 82nd. Every squad (9 dudes divided by 16,000) had it's own bar that they went to on a certain night. Obviously there's more bars than there are squads (and strip clubs didn't count as a bar) When you went into "your" bar on your night. There would be a bar clearing fight with tables and chairs thrown. There's even video of a buddy of mines who did three parachute landing falls off the bar on these dudes.

We'd scatter when the cops came and as long as no one had an extended hospital stay it was covered up. We passed around the beret to pay for damages to the bar.

The sad this was I didn't even drink that much but you were expected to spend "quality time" with your squad (the squad leader and married folks got somewhat of a pass) It turned out to be at least three nights a week, One was "bar night" one was "club night" (on club night you had to stay on the mechanical bull for at least ten seconds, It was way harder than it looked) and the other "sports night" where we played against other squads.

I talked to Navy and Air Force dudes and they didn't hang out with those country ass white boys off duty at all.

You sir are correct:russ: what kind of bama shyt did they have y'all doing in the Army:hhh:
