shyt I failed SFAS once actually I quit...I can’t knock anybody for failing that shyt. I didn’t even want to do it I was tab chasing for some reason and we had a ton of slots.

Since I was at bragg I constantly saw nikkas far better than me fail that shyt so I didn't even try. (I did work with them later and maybe I would've tried then but frankly they don't train the average conventional solider well enough)

I knew six people kicked out for Land Nav. they said the Land Nav under pressure kicked people's asses. I know one guy (an Asian named Go) who made it. He came back to the company area with his green beanie on. One guy made it (I think) to the Rangers from Airborne school. They pressed us out to try out when the Ranger Recruiter literally told us to follow him to the Fence and took off running. I got left in the dust and I'm a fast runner.

That being said I met a lot of their pogues and although they wore the Black square they didn't seem all that high speed to me. I guess I just didn't want it. That being said those guys are treated like kings.

we have to allow them to have their phones unless conducting training in a SCIF...We train permanent party and IET and we aren’t taking the permanent parties devices so it’s only fair to allow the IET to have theirs....From the time classes start. Once they get back with their Drill SGTs they follow whatever policy the drills have but during course hours they have them.

Only Problem is they're not technically in the army yet. I had a very long MOS school, I saw nikkas I went to basic with wearing berets when we were wearing PC's They couldn't talk to us. One a$$hole tried to make me go to parade rest for him. AIT dudes don't have official time off and can't leave the base. ( I snuck out a lot but like I said my school was way too long).

Since I'm out I took a phone into a SCIF before. Our security sucked.

Damn y'all really got me wanting to join the military now:wow: This civilian life is boring
Civilian life is boring as fukk. And stupid. People doing the dumbest shyt for the dumbest reasons. At least in the military people had stress as an excuse or guaranteed money in their accounts to make decisions that defined them more clearly. It made sense. And days didn't start with bullshytting for hours talking about the same shyt you were last week/month/year.

I sometimes think about going back as an officer. Just don't know if I'll have the energy for certain shyt anymore.

My nikka Nobody believes in that bullshyt. I'm not even living in amerkkka anymore. I met other vets that got the fukk out too. Even the white boys don't believe in that. The most radical people I ever met in my life where people in the military. I think that the only straight up "Real Amerikkka" types were in special ops.

They gaslight civilians to make them think that nikka love the military I was in the wounded warrior transition unit at Walter Reed, Them nikkas with their nuts blown off Did not want to live. they told us to smile and wave the flag for the families sake not us. The fukked up thing was us non amputees were told that we had to be thankful that were weren't like the amputees or burn patients. If I had lost my balls like some of them dudes did I would've killed myself and some random people.

"but but but sergeant i need to be able to speak to my famwy :sadbron:"

Yep.

Made me real fukking humble about my injuries too. I felt bad for the guys who were in one way or another forced or obligated to put on the act - its not just for TV or anything either. They'll hit up fundraisers for charity, keep their kids/families NOT as depressed as they are, give motivation to people who need it. But at the same time, fukk that. That's harder work than anything else you're asked to do.

Its funny how people gobble it up or immediately hate it too. Like nah, motherfukkers really go through hair and makeup before shooting that commercial. Its a job for them too.

People always asked me why I didn’t continue in the medical field after being a medic. Being a medic made me HATE medicine. I loved the adrenaline rush of being the first on a patient but the aftermath destroys you if you care to much. Inside I loved it when I didn’t have to see them again but on the chance I did, even if it was something relatively minor, it felt like I was being suffocated. The worst was seeing permanently disfigured ones or amputees after they’d gone home. I smiled and hugged and gave daps but inside I just turned off all feelings. I didn’t even like talking to some of my own platoon mates with concussions from IED’s after we got home. They’d always try to thank me and it just made me sick. It’s fukked up but I feel like I just don’t want to see them again after seeing them on their worst day.

I used to die laughing when the first day of a field rotation I’d have a ruck full of snacks and my guys would be like “you’re such a fukking Pog, Doc!” By day 5 they’d eaten all their shyt and smoked all their squares and we’re begging for some of mine. I’d make them call me “half POG, half amazing!”

I was in Regiment I only have one partner that made it through the pipeline. And he went 3 times...I literally took my ass back to regular Army. I won’t lie I think this scroll is why I made it as far as I have it’s many other Soldiers who to me did a better job or knew more but they never made it past SFC or SSG even. And now I’m sitting here in my final year waiting to retire and this shyt is going on...I’m done done.

Yeah they don't talk about their wives leaving them because they can't deal with a dude injuries. They'll stick around for the check and the clout of being a wounded warrior's wife but when no one's looking they dip.

If a dude is born disabled he can deal better but to be walking and talking and suddenly can't.... I mean they made some good advancements in medicine but being an amputee or burn victim is a hard ass road. I think of them when I start complaining about my little hangnail injury.

That’s all related to the phase system...With a long AIT like that now they have the Soldiers phase up as they are retained...My school house we last anywhere from 8 to 18 weeks. But they do have phones. They are allowed to leave post on the weekend and holidays of course basically once they make it past the first few module exams.

Well I came in old too it's gonna suck to be treated as a child for a year or two. That being said It's certainly a decent life experience.

If you do decide to go My piece of advice is pick the shyttiest job possible, One you don't want to like it too much and end up doing a thousand years

Secondly because they know people don't want to join the Infantry they make the "cool jobs" suck more. You could be a Dental technician but you'll be way upset when they ask you to leave the hospital and pick up trash in the woods, They're not making the Infantry be in the mud all day and pick up shyt.

everybody has...No harm no foul if you instantly go back and lock it up...But if a check is conducted and they find it than it’s a wrap...They are so heinous with these security clearances under continuing monitoring that a security violation like this they will Legitimately revoke a persons clearance...I’ve seen it happen to everyone from senior officers to enlisted to young Soldiers...They are quick to revoke now.

aye y’all cool and all that but I hated working with Rangers lmao. They just assume everyone is one their net and in on the plan and shyt
:mjlol:
some them flipped a Stryker (I had no idea y’all used those) before a raid and I was the only one with Armor experience (neither a 113 or Bradley is remotely similar to a Stryker) so I had to drive it back to a FOB at night with the hatch open. A bunch of Rangers piled in the back all ready to murder and shyt. The whole way back all I heard was “who is this guy?!” “Where are we going?” “Who is he?!” “Why isn’t he responding?!” “Where’s his headset?!” “Who is this guy” “is the raid still happening?!”

when we got back to their compound they individually said “Thanks” one at a time before opening the gate so I could leave their asses. It was like driving for a bunch of murderous Metal gear solid guards lmao.

My shyt was almost a year and I was a security holdover, having to stay on base on the weekends and clean up shyt sucked ass.

Are you a Drill or an Instuctor at the schoolhouse? That was another thing almost all my time on the line and I have zero time on the trail and no instructor time. If I wasn't medboarded I probably would've barely made 1SG

Same thing for me in general... I got tired of seeing people at their worst then catching them on a better day. I knew people better than I ever wanted to in the military.

While that's been some of the best experiences I've ever had, at the same time its exhausting in ways people could never understand. I don't WANT to know people that well anymore. I knew guys I hated better than I knew my own family.

That's how my ex and I fell through.

It happens on the outside too though. That "in sickness and in health" thing is a bytch :unimpressed:

Fact is, people DONT know how to be hurt. They have to learn. I went from being first into everything and ready to jump through walls for people to not being able to brush my own hair. My relationship was based on us both being strong individuals and better together. Sounds dope but the dynamics of going from working out together to watching someone struggled to get out of bed don't really make it to movies that often and people get blindsided by what life looks like.

Oh well no kids :blessed: and got me investing in the finest strip clubs Killeen, Texas had to offer :skip:
