Yeah it was racial but not racial for example when I took over a squad my joes would say He called you a ****** when you were gone. And they didn't understand why I looked at them funny for snitching. I never called one of them a cracker behind their back.

The military is funny like that motherfukkers could be racist as hell but they manage to put it to the side when there's work to be done.

That's my experience as well. The only time something crossed the line was at a party when one of the white boys had one too many PBRs and tried to talk slick in front of some random chick he liked. But that situation was resolved pretty quickly:demonic:

So I never felt threatened with his egging me on, I thought he was annoying and his homeboy my friend was fukking was like "why you scared son, he only asking you to lay down a little money". I was spanking nikkas and I thought they were annoying but I wasn't bothered...

Some kinda way the conversation turned to prison, I was asked if I'd been, and there was a convo around that. My friend's boyfriend, remember he ex Army, starts talking about how he does nikkas bad in prison who think they tough guys. I'm listening and laughing and at some point I'm like "I think it's funny when police try to push a line on inmates, knowing they have the upper hand regardless". It was an innocent comment said with no intent but that triggered the dealer and ex-Army nikka and changed the energy in the room...

Homeboy was like "yo, I ain't no police, fam". I was laughing and was like, "you carry a gun and badge, you the police, nikka", and my homegirl let out a nervous laugh. He starts talking about how he from the Bronx and some wild hood, joined the Army to get away and was involved in wild shyt, and where he grew up would fold Fayetteville nikkas, and where was I from anyway? Whole time I'm laughing, like bruh I'm not from Fayetteville, I just got bagged here and made relationships here, but even if I was from Fayetteville why would it matter to me where he's from? So he gets up and goes to the kitchen to get something to drink, my homegirl sees he aggy and follows him...

So it's me and dealer left at the table and still other people there around us. I noticed the "police" word triggered him, and dealer was like "my nikka ain't police, bruh". So I repeat what I'd already said and was like yall nikkas sensitive about because you don't wanna admit you tight with police. Homeboy pauses and starts asking me where do I hang at and what do I push, tells me he deals in coke and weed. I tell him unless he trying to buy some shyt we weren't having that discussion, he goes back to talking about his car versus my car and his two chains and why would he need to buy from me, when I have no ice on and I'm pulling up in a cheap Impala, I'm afraid to gamble, he got a knot in his pocket and I haven't shown any cash, blah blah blah...

Anyway at some point his homeboy and my friend got back to the table and she massaging his shoulders and he looks at me and he's like, "I ain't no motherfukking police, yo. Police go around arresting people and pressing charges on people, I'm a corrections officer, nikka. That's it". And I responded laughing again on some "you triggered, you'll feel better when you admit you police, nikka. You ain't gotta admit it to me". Dude tensed up and it got quiet in the room because homeboy had raised his voice to be heard on some look at me shyt...

Keep in mind, he wasn't a small nikka, bout 5'11/6' and was pretty built like alota COs, I'd estimate maybe 200-215 lbs, musclebound. I'm 5'7 and at the time maybe 160, don't have an intimidating look but I've been told for years I have a presence and this is one of those times, I didn't notice it in the moment, but looking back on it it's one of the moments where I think my presence kinda took over a room and cats were trying to figure out how to read me and what to do with me. At that point I'd looked him directly in his eyes with my previous response, and I noticed their active duty homeboy had made his way over from macking some broad and they were all sizing me up...

My homegirl had the most nervous look ever and was telling homie "Dame, he just joking, relax". Homeboy tried to stare me down on some read and intimidate shyt, and I just instinctively held his gaze when I made my response and looked at Dealer and Active Duty. And i remember distinctly saying to myself something along the lines of "these nikkas gonna get themselves shot if they jump me in here", and calculating how far each was from me and who may strike first. I remember feeling a little adrenaline and getting a little excited about it in the moment...

Ultimately my friend asked to speak to me alone, so I got up from the table and went outside with her. She asked me to leave to diffuse the shyt, which I was cool with because I was starting to build, plus we weren't playing cards anymore anyway. So I left, never saw them dudes again, I remember telling one of my homeboys who had done time at the prison old boy worked at about the situation, and he told me (and our friend next time we were around her) he wishes I woulda called him so he could tell the nikka them tough guy COs at that prison were soft and he was very much a cop lmao. Had a good laugh, my friend said later that he wanted to take off on me and told her he shoulda beat my ass, him and his homeboys both encouraged it after I left, my response was just like "what stopped Mr. Officer?"

I haven't thought of this incident in several years, it's amazing what you can remember lol. That's the only time though that I believe I almost got into it with some Army cats...
How come he's never been POTY already? He drops fire every time he takes the keyboard.

Do you write? I felt like I was in the room :whew:

Look at fukking Fayetteville it was a no horse town without Fort Bragg (I don't want to shyt on your city) I came from New York to Fay do you know how pissed I was? I used to sneak back home every weekend (you had to get a special pass to go more than a couple hours off base), You'd go to that one story (first time I saw a one story mall) at Cross creek and almost all the bytches at the mall where military or dependents, I hated that.

Funny story Fay was such a sausage factory that even the hoes were dudes. My first line supervisor (won't call him an NCO) got hemmed up with those obvious trehs on Mike Street. Homie allegelledly got into a fight with them and lost his wallet. the Treh's were in the army too so they somehow got his ID back to to 1SG.

:gucci: There are Trehs in the army selling ass to other army men?
Is that common?

That only happened at Bragg never heard of it happening any other place.

All in all because Fort Bragg is home to Airborne and Special Operations Forces they have very few women. They say women don't jump they hump (meaning they don't become parachutists/ Airborne) Even of the few women who did jump I never met a woman who was enthusiastic about it.

You sir are correct:russ: what kind of bama shyt did they have y'all doing in the Army:hhh:

It made for better unit cohesion. We literally moved as a unit. Think about it you had a bunch of white boys from places like Vermont and Montana who never seen a Black person in their life, and you had dudes like me who rarely interacted with white people before. You put Fans of Buju Banton together with fans of Brooks & Dunn. You'd have fights over the radio. One way to avoid that was the Ranking dude controlled the radio.

Before my first deployment we had a huge party with every cool E-6 and below in the Battalion of about 700 people. It was at an E-6's house and there was UA drinking and strippers (who were Army chicks in another unit I actually saw their ID's) Me and my Crip buddy was about to try to steal the tips but we couldn't do it. It was a Black party but there were some cool white people there. Had their been one Drunk Driving incident it would've been bad, But it didn't happen everyone kept their mouths shut.

If they were in the miltary they would know they have no room to talk, white folks acted super rednecky at times.

Too many of them finna go to the grave thinking their people could do no wrong, EVER
