Arsenio Hall Show just got cancelled

It was never a good situation. First off it's in syndication and I don't think a late night show can make it in syndication in this day and age. Secondly, it was syndicated by CBS who already have late night interests in the time slots most attractive for Arsenio. He never really had a chance. Hindsight is 20/20 and all but it would have been better to try to get him in that Late Late Show spot but nobody knew that Letterman/Ferguson would be leaving at the time. It was nice seeing guests who don't normally get invited to talk shows for the bit that he was on.

I read about this earlier today but I never watched his show. From what I have read from tv watchers was that it wasn't good but I heard they received the green light for another season but then it gets canceled. Hmmm

this right here could start a revolution if people really knew how big of a hustle this is against minority interests
i'm surprised with the tech we have that all cable boxes or tv's aren't equipped with rating trackers that send the info back and then they can choose their sample from a much larger population and be way more accurate or just fukking have a computer count the actual whole population lol
I never arrived home early enough to watch it. But it seem straight from the YouTube clips I watched.
Just like in the 90's, he touched on black issues that the white media wouldn't.
Like having Desean Jackson on after the whole gang rumor. He had c00nin A Smith on to discuss the c00nbe Trayvon comments,etc.
All the black musical guests got shine.

I'm guessing the ratings are down but I get tired of how short the rope is for minorities on tv to hang themselves with. You can't tell me Craig Ferguson is just killin it with his bullshyt ass show but yet he's made it to season 8 or 9.
Yea the jokes weren't that funny and also I think his interviewing style sucked...

They could and should have at least given him a good two seasons to iron out the kinks. I'm at work when his show is on but I think his importance is in the cultural aspect, someone earlier said he had on guest that usually don't get any shine on late nights...ie a lot of black celebs. Hate it had to be Arsenio...again.
