What kind of simple thinking is this, either she's not very bright when it comes to common sense or she's lying to herself and a everyone who reads this. What Kind of knowledge are you going to gain from an affair?

One, your a scum bag, two, you have no self control, and three you need to not be in a relationship at all.

That's it, period. All this extra stuff is excuses, you dont make a write article called "how having an affair saved my life" when there was no life threatening issues going on to start with

She simply got what she wanted, probably got hit up by some attractive dude after being married and then wondered what it would be like to do what she wanted with who she wanted for the rest of her life.

Now her life is "saved"

She could have very well choose not to cheat, and experience the total opposite side of this equation. But that probably would have taken self control, and wouldn't be getting written about or spotlighted on websites now would it.

I think what @Danny Up and the girl who wrote the article is trying to say is that because she cheated now she knows that she doesnt want marriage, atleast for right now. I guess that would be the silver lining. I just dont believe cheating is the tool you use to make life choices.

Thats like cheating on your math test at Harvard, getting kicked out, then going to trade school and becoming a "happy" plumber.
