The watch ain't have shyt to do with anything. DJ Khaled blackballed him.. Ace Hood created a music style that everybody eventually copied and had hits on hits. Khaled bytch ass wanted to be the star of the show all the time and put more promotion into himself than Ace Hood. Ace Hood mistake was signing with Khaled for so long. I think he finally asked if he could be let out his contract and he was let out. Then Khaled blackballed him

Ace had about 5 solid hits :wow: But they were all in quick succession.

Who stole his style?

Khaled really blackballed him for no reason like that :what:? If he didn't want to promote him fine just move on and let him rock on the parent label. O
If he flops he flops

Rich Harrison: Rich Harrison was red hot because of his productions for Amerie. Beyonce wanted that sound. She picked a track she liked and told Rich to write the song while she was gone and have it done when she got back. Rich completed the song. Crazy In Love was a smash and rolled out Bey's debut solo album perfectly. Even though he wrote and produced the song, Bey still got writer and producer credit. Rich told this story to the press. No more Rich Harrison on ya radio.
Karma

Mack 10: His goons laid hands on Ice Cube's brother in law. Mack refused to apologize to Cube and his wife for the incident. He wasn't that good anyway, but that cut his run shorter than it would have been.

Nona Gaye: Both her and her brother were teenage addicts due to their mom's poor parenting. Nona was her mother's drug buddy. Nona decided that she wanted to make a run at a career in entertainment. So she cleaned up and things started to happen. Her album didn't do much business but it put people on notice. She linked up with Prince soon after. Nona was Prince's main until he announced his engagement to Mayte to the press. Nona found out with the rest of the world. Nona left Minneapolis and tried to get back on but her sobriety didn't last. She was fired from Law and Order before she could film an episode. Been a wrap since then.

Beyonce definitely blackballed:

BC Jean: She wrote If I Were A Boy with her producer. The producer played it for Bey's team behind her back. Bey's team wanted the song. Bey simply re-sang BC Jean's vocal, but ended up with songwriting and production credit. BC Jean cried foul to the media. Bey's people put some money in her pocket and she changed her tune in the press, calling it a misunderstanding. But it was too late.

Boots: Boots wrote and produced the majority of the Beyonce self-tiled album. Beyonce was considered a big improvement over the 4 album by fans and critics. When the public saw Boots' numerous credits on the album, people got curious about him. Someone found his Soundcloud account. Boots forgot to remove the demos for the Beyonce songs from his page. The demos also had identical lyrics to the finished versions. Like everyone else, Boots was forced to share writing and production credit with Bey. So with the public finding the fully formed demos, it poked further holes in the narrative that Beyonce was not just a singer but a competent songwriter and producer in the vein of Michael Jackson. The fact is that in order to secure placement on a Beyonce project, you must give her fake writer and producer credit.

Keri Hilson: Been explained

Rich Harrison always maintained Bey did the bridge for Crazy In Love (2003) hence her getting credit for her part in the creation of the record. Rich naturally got the lion share of the credit

Road To The Grammys: The Making of Beyonce's 'Crazy In Love'

According to the article( from 2004): Harrison stepped up and wrote the verses and the hook, leaving the bridge for Beyoncé. He wound up playing all the instruments on the track, too.

Do you know how song writing works?

Amerie first album (2002) didn't even go platinum ...A's biggest hit was One Thing (2005) which sounded more like Crazy In Love (2003) than anything she released prior ....

After working on CIL with B he went on to produce hits with JLo and Amerie. Also went on to work with Usher and Toni Braxton

So B brought Bootz back in to help write and produce records on Lemonade even though he supposedly was responsible for the "demos" for her self titled leaking 2,3 years prior? And all these demos have conviently disappeared... No news article or anything reporting the incident exist?

Keri Hilson went on to make hits and worked with Kanye after the "diss"... Wrote for the likes of Brittney Spears...

Sure some shady shyt goes down (none of these artist are saints nowhere close) but y'all just be running with anything if you don't like someone ...chatty pattie shyt lol

I’m not saying I believe he did Relapse or not but do you think every ghostwriter in the industry is credited? Partynextdoor isn’t credited on 90% of the Drake songs he’s written and neither was Quentin Miller

I mean, we all know Drake has ghostwriters. The only question is who wrote what songs. Eminem having an entire album written for him, and Dre having an entire album produced for him? Eminem’s first album after getting sober? That's not something that can be easily hidden. Somebody would have talked at this point. Jay-Z writing "Still D.R.E." has been talked about many times. Nas has been tied to ghostwriting (Will Smith) and having a ghostwriter (Jay Electronica). Even if someone's not credited, there's going to be a trail of breadcrumbs left behind. Especially for doing the writing and production of an entire album.

I feel you, I’m not saying I believe or don’t believe it. But this is what Charles said directly to my friend after coming back from LA and working with Eminem, Dre and Iovine. If anything, he probably produced and wrote drafts of songs that Eminem and Dre later reworked into the final versions on the album.

Playing devil's advocate here (because I don't believe it), do you know if Charles worked with them in Orlando? Because Eminem talked about it in his book. When they went there, one of the songs they made was "Underground" and that's when Eminem really started thinking he was back.

From what I know, he was living in LA in some apartment complex during this time. When I go back and relisten to Relapse, I could see a few of the songs maybe having him involved. Like “Same Song and Dance” in particular. Charles used to make a lot of conceptual/story songs similar to that. What was probably happening is he’d be asked to write some songs as if he was Eminem then give them to Dre/Iovine. They’d probably take bits and pieces of what they like and make new, more fleshed out songs around his contributions. He probably wasn’t credited because he lost his Interscope deal during this time. Just from Iovine’s standpoint, it’d be a cool idea to give Charles experience plus help Em come up with some fresh sounding material after being on a hiatus. Plus it would be easy to get away with since nobody would associate him with Eminem.
