When did I say he didn't have haters? Maybe I was watching the wrong media but I don't remember him being hated like that nationally. Now local media in different cities okay but nationally I never remember him being shyt on like that except for 06. My point was never that he didn't recieve hate by anyone. My point was that the national media and people in general never shat on him like old boy was tryna make it seem. The reason why mj is the goat is.
He won titles as the global catalyst.
In a game that IQ wise strategically is centered around low post high percentage play.
Of which mj, from the perimeter was consistently able to raise a question against.
Kobe's perimeter play and execution are nowhere near that level of play.
First because Kobe, lacks the basketball IQ to execute consistently with the best low post options.
Plus, his erratic self black hole gunner play has consistently shown he can not execute on the level of air Jordan without a lowpost threat.
Jordan's teams were better because he may have punched Steve Kerr.
Yet, Steve Kerr was still loyal to mj.
As Kerr and those bulls teams rallied around the global catalyst mj.
Whereas Kobe was into it with the main contributors to his team's success.
As a coup attempt and ploy to change perception.
Then, erroneously try to rewrite history, mythos, and legacy.
Of which, Kobe has failed at.
I am not disputing Kobe's accomplishments.
