:what:

Stop saying "nikka", white boy.

Kobe was contemplating retiring in 2011, because his knees were so fukked up. He averaged 25, not 28.

Past his prime or not (he's obviously passed it, but still)...2011 is anomaly because he was injured in the playoffs, basically playing on one leg, and considering retirement at that point...not that it matters, kobe gets no passes for anything and was summarily criticized and written off as finished after that Dallas series :yeshrug: ...but for comparisons sake, I'm not seeing why Kobe limping through the playoffs that year would be used to make any point when he clearly wasn't healthy....there's plenty of other seasons kobe didn't win a chip that y'all can use as "see...kobe doesn't win every year too" examples...even if that's not what the thread is really about (lebron at the height of powers in the absolute prime of his career allowing himself to be rendered a role player throughout an entire Finals series by being guarded like Rondo)

I'm black you dumb ass. :deadmanny:

In 2011.he led the league in scoring for the majority of the season and sat the last few. That's how KD got it. Last year he avg 27ppg. You are a typical poster hugged up on Kobe's balls.

Again, go suck yu mudda.

Is Lebron really playing that bad?

I fell asleep after the first half. :snoop:

So did the Heat. :heh: Except for Miller that is.

IMO he played worse in game 1. He at least tried yesterday the shots just werent' falling and there was really nothing that could be done with the way the Spurs were hitting shots.

Really? :usure: Must've missed the around the clock questioning of Kobe that others in that boat have endured. That nikka was non-existant for 3 straight close 4th qtrs and got a complete pass. Pau's softness and production drop off was more talked about than Kobe's similar drop off. Only series he ever caught shyt for was the PHX in 06. He really didn't catch shyt like that (outside of :hamster:) for the 04 Finals. Looks forward to you using rings won early in his career (one of which came with him on one leg, missing games and avg. 15 ppg) as reason why he avoided blame as if that has anything to do with how he performed in those series. Last time I checked Bron has ring too and if he keeps playing like this he will be thoroughly castigated much to your delight.

As far as Bron goes game 1 is the only game where you can really shyt on him. He wasn't even trying and that game was very winnable. They won game 2 because the shooters were scorching. I get the feeling he would like every game to be like that one. And last night he was trying but the shots just weren't falling. Not sure a big game by him is enough to combat the way the Spurs were shooting yesterday:whew:. Nonetheless the Heat should be up 2-1 right now and it's his fault that they are not.

Yup...I'm absolutely sure and I'm not even gonna entertain you sitting her like Kobe fukking Bryant...prolly the most divisive and pretty most consistently derided all-time great basketball player to have ever played, didn't catch criticism for that series or damn near every playoff series he's ever lost dating back to the beef with Shaq :comeon: :comeon: :comeon: :comeon: ...I'm not gonna pretend like Kobe has EVER gotten some kind of Tim Duncan-esque pass for not winning when there is damn near a cottage industry of media members that make careers out of bashing Kobe at every occasion :heh: or that the phenomenon of Kobe-Hating is some mystical thing that only happens on this messeageboard and it's predecessor :russ:

Just...Not...Gonna...Do...It

It's insanity

If you're gonna attempt to maintain this fictional fukkery...please stop responding to me right now...don't want to hear anything else

2008 Finals, 2011 Playoffs, 2004 Finals....Kobe went down swinging. It's a difference in mindset. That dude would put up 25 on 25% :heh: before having 13 points and being passive all game. Also, the 08 Celtics and the 04 were the two best defenses in the last 15 years IMO. Boston swarmed Kobe everytime. Kobe foolishly tried to beat Detroit by himself and you saw what happened. Dallas was hungry in 2011 & they outplayed us :manny: He was aggressive though. I'd love to see Bron against those two squads at their peak. San Antonio isn't tripling Bron every time he touches the ball. They're daring him to shoot like he's Speedy Claxton or some shyt and its working :dead: Pop wouldn't dare try that shyt with Kobe...

I seem to remember Kobe having an absolutely shyt finals and Pau bailing his ass out....

well your memory is flawed

he averaged 28, 8, 4 and 2 steals per game

3 games where he shot below 45%, 4 games where he shot above (.45, .40, .34, .45, .47, .48, .25)

3 30-point performances

he had a good series outside of the last game, but even then he contributed 15 boards, had 11 in the 4th, and still played aggressively

Is this even still a discussion?

They leaving him open for jump shots all day and he can't even hit mid range jumpers.

You think they could do that to Kobe? :pachaha:

I do see LeBron dropping over 25pts as long as Kahwi Leonard is on him...
