It's not the mark of success and i never said it was, it has to do with black ppl and legacy-building

I can't pass my job down to my kids, no matter how "good" it is.

I'm a black man in my 20s and trust me i'm in the minority when it comes to this mentality, but i feel that it's important for my generation to try to pass more down to our kids, than what was passed down to us

Most brehs didn't get businesses or inheritances or anything like that passed down to us, but just because we didn't get it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to give our kids that.

That's just my opinion....most don't agree and that's fine....but it's a big reason why the next generation will still be in this same position (hardly any businesses passed down, looking to cacs for employment etc)

You can think it's "sad" but my kids won't....they aren't even born yet and their pops already has a business and money for them to inherit...i also employ other black people as well
