Take all the emotions out for a second. I know the coli likes to get emotional. So please lol :whoa:

He is a deplorable guy but I can respect his come up. Put his family name on the map , became a billionaire and then the most powerful man in the world.

Even though he is gonna be an awful president, the ambition and drive I can respect :manny:

There are way more successful, non-racist, never filed for bankruptcy are out there, yet you chose that orange faced clown to be inspired by?

Breh was the most powerful man in the world.:whew:

He could have taken that loan and fell back. He flipped it into a multi billion dollar, global real estate empire. New York creates some of the best hustlers.
Nah.
He took a million dollar loan, as well as a later inheritance from his father, and made rather marginal gains, in comparison to if he'd taken all the money his father gave him, put it in a portfolio spread across the S&P 500, and sat for 40 years.
He actually made less than he could've.

People have written articles debunking much of this Trump financial acumen nonsense but there are people still in here spouting it

I know that America truly gets what it deserves....smh

His father bailed him out and loaned him money several times after he failed and failed again. Most people don't have opportunities like that, also his fathers reputation afforded him connections the average individual would not have access to. Sure he pushed the Trump name further out there but the family was already well established. Your crediting him far to much, hell the fact that his known worldwide isn't for his business acumen but because of the fact he was in a reality tv show.
Not only was he given money, he also TOOK OVER his father's real estate business. c00n ass nikkas in here acting like he started from scratch. :dame:

Where did you go? And you're acting Penn is something to sneeze at. Wharton is a damn good business school. In the time I've been in Finance as an intern and professional, I've met more Wharton kids than I have Harvard, Yale or Princeton.

And so? :what: Last time I checked Trump didn't graduate from Wharton, he only took a few UNDERGRADUATE courses there. :pachaha:He was never enrolled in their MBA program. :dame:

Also....

He only got into Wharton in the first place because of “an interview with a friendly Wharton admissions officer who was one of [father Fred Trump] old high school classmates.”

Most people aren't born into wealth so why not compare him
with his silver spoon contemporaries ?

Code:
70% of wealthy families lose their wealth by the second generation, and a stunning 90% by the third, according to the Williams Group wealth consultancy.

There are a lot of luxury hotelier heirs out there but very few have leveraged
their image of success into licensing businesses globally much less into
celebrity stardom. That was all Donald not Papa Trump.

He could have stopped there but he ran for office, held his party hostage
and won. All Donald not Papa Trump.

The rest of the world has their own Apprentice spinoffs....and even if they don't
have a Trump building in their country .. They know he's the U.S. President now

from millionaire failure to billionaire president..:pachaha:

Nah g, that ambition and drive you perceive and think he has is really just white privilege.:stopitslime:

The color of his skin and network that was afforded to him because of that is the reason he's where he is today and not broke or in jail for sexual harassment.

If you want to see ambition peep Oprah or both Obamas' come up.:wow:

what business did Obama create? or did he just eat off tax dollars?....just sayin'....

For every person that turned their inheritance into a fortune there is also one that squandered it. For every person born into money and made a name for themseleves, there is another still living off the name of their ancestors.

Yes, Trump had an enourmous leg up, but at some point in time that leg up could only take him so far.

Let's not bring logic into these discussions :whoa:

Let's forget that 70% of all inheritors blow their money :whoa:

Let's forget that Donald Trump's father didn't build his fortune either. The grandfather made money first and gave Fred money to start off with :whoa:

(the grandfather)

Also, let's pretend that everyone here doesn't have dreams of passing money onto their children one day, so in effect, we are shytting on something that we would do for our kids if we were in the same scenario :whoa:

Donald Trump may be a demon but, his business acumen is A1.

You got Will Smith's kids walking around in dresses, Snoop Dogg's kids smoking weed all day and Muhammad Ali's kids abandoning their families. What's the likelihood any of them will take their father's money and create billion dollar brands :jbhmm: What about the Jackson family kids or the Simmons family kids or Eddie Murphy's kids? You think JoJo Simmons gonna start the next hot tech startup?

If it was that easy to flip money every single black entertainer's children would have fortune 500 companies trading on Nasdaq but, they obviously don't. But hey, let's leave logic out of this :whoa:
