Yeah. I'm definitely thankful because some people have absolutely no one.
Easy for you to say. You women are naturally more social than men. Its much easier for you than us to make friends despite your age or life stages.

If you got one, two or three solid ones, just be happy with that. People ain't worth a damn nowadays.
I was just complaining to one of my friends that I only have 4 close friends. But that's actually a lot at my age (30) and I should be grateful. Like I KNOW I can trust them and that they want the best for me. Plus I still have my parents and I'm close with my 30 year old cousin.
People at school I don't fukk with yet. The neighbors dat do check with me do drugs or seem off. It'll just be trouble, and i don't plan on staying in this school long or living here long.
But I do wish I had a friend for concerts and wrestling events. Nobody in my circle listens to the music I check out live or watches wrestling.
Yeah, my situation is similar. I am 31, and when I was younger I had many "friends" or acquaintances who I would shoot the shyt with or party with. But when times got rough for me, all those people faded away. My two close friends who I have known for 17, and 15 years, have always been there for me, and motivate me to do better. Like, these guys will call me just to make sure I'm good. That shyt means a lot .

The only chance I've had to make new friends is at work. I've been kind of busy lately but I've been thinking of just linking up with people I used to know that I still have added on facebook but haven't really spoken to in like 10 years. It's like having new friends but you don't have that awkward getting to know them stage.

Generally I actually agree with that.
The only exception I find is my husband. He is the friendliest mofo I know.
He makes friends so easily! I hate it! Lol
You guys saying that you're too busy with work and making money... It's sad breh. Real sad. I know money is important and all but how much is enough? Would you disregard every other factor of life just to get that extra dollar?
I stopped hanging out with my 'lets go drinking' friends and started linking up with my photography friends. Met a lot of people with similar interests and goals. It can be done and is not some impossible task. Sound like you moving into a new phase in life and you're growing up. Just start getting more into your hobbies/interests and seek out people with similar shyt.
