I mean I will never get how people could have the audacity to fix they fukkin face to try to compare that album to some of the best albums of all time. Like Thriller n such. I mean that's some shyt thats just utterly ridiculous to me. The album as a whole is very good but it's literally NOTHING that he does on that album that could be considered exceptional. Not his rapping. Not the beats (which were overproduced and unnecessary at times.) The album is one of the worst mixed mainstream albums I've ever heard. And since nikkas wanna talk about how "musical" the album is. Anyone who values music would recognize how TERRIBLE that is especially for songs with all those random instruments. The mixing is just atrocious. So wtf does it do deserving all this unnecessary praise. Is it a dope album? Absolutely. Greatest album of all time? fukk outta here.

T&Y is a very good album (top 10 rap album of 2015) but it doesn't touch MBDTF imo. If I had to make a top 5

I don't get it either. I mean the greatest albums of all time have songs that you still hear randomly. The albums transcended the time they were released and their genre. They all have songs that live on. As dope as MBDTF is, I just don't hear it with that album.

Listen to Kanye struggle raps on overproduced tracks, versus Ross doing the best rapping of his career and some of the best rapping of the 2010s over amazing production by both legends and the young producers that Kanye would eventually try to vampire drain one year later.

I've said this before. Teflon Don was the bigger album in terms of influence (for better or worse). The Lex Luger production on that album pretty much introduced us to an entire generation of trap producers. After that it was influx of trap producers. Shortly after "BMF" and "MC Hammer" dropped, Kanye got Lex Luger to produce "See Me Now" which led to Watch The Throne's first single "H.A.M.".

You should just accept that it's one of the greatest albums of all time and move on, there's really nothing you can do about it.
It's been decided and is still holding strong six years later.
Sometimes a person just has to accept the opinion on something exists rather than try to bend the perception to fit themselves, mainly when it's something music related when after a certain level it really can't be measured

Do I believe it?
Yes.
Will I change the popular perception?
Hell no.
Of course I dont do that with everything, there's commonly accepted opinions that I do argue against so just do what you do.
