I don't get it either. I mean the greatest albums of all time have songs that you still hear randomly. The albums transcended the time they were released and their genre. They all have songs that live on. As dope as MBDTF is, I just don't hear it with that album.

But that's how people feel about MBDTF.

You should just accept that it's one of the greatest albums of all time and move on, there's really nothing you can do about it.
It's been decided and is still holding strong six years later.
Sometimes a person just has to accept the opinion on something exists rather than try to bend the perception to fit themselves, mainly when it's something music related when after a certain level it really can't be measured

Will I change the popular perception?

yeah, it's a great album in terms of ye's catalog but not in the way that chris rock was hypin' that shyt up. that was blasphemous as hell. i couldn't believe he was hypin' it up like that but he did have a guest feature on that album and ye did help him with his movie so of course he gonna promote and praise it to the utmost. lmao

It's not even just the lyrics. The damn album is incohesive as fukk. nikkas sayin that it's "meant" to be like that. Yea I bet. Dude was tryna find all kinda different inspiration for the album and the album actually sounds like the result of him throwing shyt at the wall hoping it sticks.
