As hated as the current Warriors are, no team since 2000 was hated like 2010-2014 Miami Heat. None.

I don't know, this seems like recency bias. Lakers seemed a lot more hated than the Heat were back in the first 3-peat days, especially after the WCF 2002. :lolbron:

I mean we had the whole league chanting "Beat LA".
It could just be a southern cali thing. I've heard it at other sports besides basketball. Warren Sapp used to call USC the university of spoiled children back when he was playing for the hurricanes :manny:

That "not five, not six, not seven" line was arrogant as fukk. No other way to spin that. Can't say that the media wasn't on some bullshyt with him, but he brought it on himself with all the antics.
Dude was basking in the ambience of the moment and getting the crowd hype. Right after that he also said they were gonna get Pat Riley to come back and run point, I suppose yall took that literally too:comeon:

I get that. We've all been caught up in the moment and said some shyt we didn't really mean. Told this chick I loved her while we was fukkin last week. shyt happens :yeshrug:

Should she have believed me when we never seen each other outside the hours of 2-4am? No. Is it my fault she keyed my car when she saw me bring another girl home? Hell yeah. Because I should know better than to say some shyt like that and think I'll live it down. Gotta be responsible for your actions breh.

that shyt ain't happen, but I was tryna make my point :russ:

I've never seen more casuals in the NBA than supposed "Heat fans" during the Lebron years, so I don't know what you're talking about. Overnight, random people in Toronto and cities I visited in the States were rocking Heat gear. shyt had me :dwillhuh: And as soon as Lebron left, nobody rocked that shyt. This is a big reason why people shytted on them. Heat fans were some of the most arrogant bandwagoners I've ever seen in any sport.

The difference now is that even though The Warriors/Cavs are the most dominant teams in the league, at least I'm seeing people be a lil more honest about who they support. Here in Toronto, people rock Raptors gear all the time now. Even though we're out of the playoffs. It's kinda hilarious but :obama: at the same time. Lebron nutslupers continue to be Lebron nutslurpers, but at least they're not pretending to like The Heat or even be basketball fans - they're Lebron stans. And wherever he goes, they go. :yeshrug:

A ton of new Warriors fans popped up in 2014-15. I'm talking about "fans" who couldn't even name the Warriors starting lineup in 2012. Funny thing is some of them used to rock purple and gold Laker jerseys :mjpls:

Even funnier is his notion that heat fans vanished in 2014 :dead:

Of course. any time a team is winning you'll have people pop up outta nowhere talking all that fan shyt. Bandwagoning is big business for the NBA.

I'm just saying that The Heat was on a whole other level. The way the 'fans' parroted those dynasty comments was so fukking annoying.

By the way, I'm rooting for Warriors this Finals

Heat fans and Bron fans are two completely different demographics. Bron stans left to cleveland when Bron left Miami for the cavs. Heat fans remained Heat fans and will remain so.

You had Bron stans proudly claiming that Bron made the Cleveland Indians (MLB team)a winning team(they won the American League Pennant and went to the World Series in 2016

If the Tribe win the World Series...
