As hated as the current Warriors are, no team since 2000 was hated like 2010-2014 Miami Heat. None.

The Cavs threw a Kendrick Lamar concert for fans on opening night (and subsequently lost to the Knicks:dead:) and it was celebrated as "aww, look at that poor city with its loyal, diehard fans. They deserve it"

Heat threw a private pep rally for season ticket holders that was only broadcasted on local TV and the narrative was "look how arrogant they are"

Lot of hypocrites in the Media exposed themselves when Bron went back to Cleveland :mjpls:
I'm pissed off about that til this day. Hell, folks on this website still hate on the heat from time to tkme, while showing LINK and Cleveland mad love. We heat fans have the best of both worlds. We get to rent players for titles, than they ditch us and forget they ever played for us. When LBJ curved Pat Riley in 2014 and went back home, America rejoiced. He never belonged to us. He's an Ohio guy. And I'm cool with that. Miami is more than LBJ, but Cleveland IS LBJ. All Cleveland has is LBJ. LBJ's gone, but Miami rolls on.

What are you trying to say here?

:beli:
Three players...THREE players...discussed and decided to play together.

I don't feel that three players receive their fair share of the credit/blame/blowback for that decision.

That's what I'm saying.
Problem?

Warriors aren't hated really. Warriors just going through what every great team in every sport goes through when they stay on top.

"oh where were these fans when so and so played"
"oh now everyone wants to like this team"
"oh this team not better than that team from this decade"
"if so and so still played.."
"those players on that team overrated"

that happens to literally every amazing team that wins and becomes a long lasting franchise... Patriots, Cardinals, now Warriors etc

but yo that Heat hate was real af. For the simple fact a guy of Lebron status was the first to ever do some shyt like that.
Announce on tv. Say not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4. Lebron already had that list above all on himself but it didn't help the fact he left his team when he never won a ring.
Then you literally had nikkas who were "die hard cleveland fans" become "die hard heat fans"
Like I don't think a majority of people went from thunder to golden state because of Durant.

shyt was just one big math equation to add up to prolly one of the most hated teams ever.

Stop this revionist history. Bron was hated because he came across as a bytch and it looked it like a bytch move. The reaction to the 2011 finals was a prime example of that. Nikkas ain't care if Lebron had "power" he wasn't the first or the last player to leave in free agency. The warriors/KD don't receive that kind of hate because we all seen this story play out with Bron.

they were free agents and could sign wherever they wanted, how a player choosing a team a bytch move?

ol ''players have to go through the hardest path in order to win championships'' ass nikka

He was supposed to stay in Cleveland and keep losing with Big Z, Andy Varejao and Candace Parker's brother and continue to be the butt of ringless jokes, duh.

At the time, Miami was hated collectively. And when LBJ decided to go back to Cleveland, America collectively vindicated him.

I don't know why folks keep acting like LBJ got all that hatred by himslef. Celtics fans STILL hate Ray Allen for going to miami, while in the meantime the decision is all but forgotten by Cavs fans and most of America and Ohio forgave LBJ.

I've never heard of Wade or Bosh being hated once. Ever. Just Bron.

But if in 7 years when they're up for HOF election people question their rings, I'll fall back.

Imma Heat fan, I've heard it ALL. Hell, even before LBJ went to Miami, folks would discredit wades 06 title because of shady calls, folks would try to credit Shaq for the title, folks would ignore wades historic 09 season in favor of LBJ, I'd always argue daily for Wades spot amongst the top players.

The only time folks really hated on LBJ in favor of Wade was after the 2011 Finals.

I've never seen more casuals in the NBA than supposed "Heat fans" during the Lebron years, so I don't know what you're talking about. Overnight, random people in Toronto and cities I visited in the States were rocking Heat gear. shyt had me :dwillhuh: And as soon as Lebron left, nobody rocked that shyt. This is a big reason why people shytted on them. Heat fans were some of the most arrogant bandwagoners I've ever seen in any sport.

The difference now is that even though The Warriors/Cavs are the most dominant teams in the league, at least I'm seeing people be a lil more honest about who they support. Here in Toronto, people rock Raptors gear all the time now. Even though we're out of the playoffs. It's kinda hilarious but :obama: at the same time. Lebron nutslupers continue to be Lebron nutslurpers, but at least they're not pretending to like The Heat or even be basketball fans - they're Lebron stans. And wherever he goes, they go. :yeshrug:

fukk outta here. Plenty of nikkas been rocking the Heat and stayed loyal. The media don't show us no love but we was cheering the fukk outta the Heat during the past 3-4 years.
