I really think Future stans (pretend and otherwise) have no idea why Serve The Base is so damn good. There's a certain defiance/avant-garde thing in that record that doesn't really exist on other Future songs, because it's an actual hip hop record. Not some RnB autotune pop shyt. Dude is actually rapping on that shyt in comparison to 99% of his other stuff.

I do agree that dudes doing the atl trap music are not gonna prosper as a a-lister. These nikkas just be rapping trash bars in different flows and at different speeds. This whole subgenere is carried by beats. the rappers dont say shyt and are only good for 1 or 2 good lines a song. I fukk with future but I've never listened to such lazy uninspired verses in my life. Dont get me wrong that trap shyt ride but most those dudes will always have a glass ceiling on their career and wont be able to pass the Drakes, Jcoles, Big Seans and other rappers who can make good music AND spit
