Yeah, but you don't have to wait for shyt.

What is the point of buying stuff online that is readily available in the stores?

on top of being generally cheaper in some states you dont get taxed from amazon. which is like 8-9% discount off the bat in my state

No man. Let me explain.

I bought mad shyt from Best Buy over the years. But since the rise of services like Amazon, I just use Best Buy to scope out things in person before I'd buy it.

Totally separate from that, is my disdain for them bothering the fukk out of you every 5 minutes as you're trying to browse. I had a problem with that before Amazon ever existed.

My favorite was Circuit City. They'd leave you the fukk alone until you asked for help. Or one person would say "hey, can I help you?", and then bounce if you said "no". Also they had a great foreign movie selection.

I'm above this. I use Amazon. I got free shipping..no taxes. I get what I want. About to buy a mini fridge for work from them. LOL@Best Buy. Got that laptop there a couple of years ago but that was it. That little girl tried to get me to sign up for all kind of extra shyt in that line.

So annoying as fukk = hard worker? :what:

None of these big box electronics retail stores are going out of business because their employees aren't harassing people. Cut it out.

And leaving me alone =/= lazy. I'm a grown man, I don't need a chaperone.

I'm starting to think some of you cats work for Best-Buy.

Not getting taxed from amazon isn't a good thing.

Sales taxes are the main sources of revenue used to fund the community you live in.

You should try this thing I've been using called Invisible Hand. Tells you if a better price can be found for an item somewhere else. Also another one called honey that'll search for and apply discounts when you checkout. I could've been saving so much money over the years.

The one thing that annoys me about Best Buy at times are the employees who really don't know much about electronics working there.

Don't try and bullshyt a bullshytter... and don't try and bullshyt a tech head. You'll be greeted with the instant
:childplease:

I remember going in there messing around with that TouchPad when the fire sale was going on. Dude was like, "Why do you want one of those? It doesn't have any apps", I'm like, yeah, but it's 150 and Android is going to get ported to it sooner than later. He goes on to tell me that he already tried porting Android for it and it didn't work (yes, this nikka actually said this, and he said it before the CM10 or anybody released shyt for it). I liked at dude like, "Oh yeah? Really?"...

He then goes on and tries to sell me an iPad and I just laughed at him and said I'm not spending that much for a tablet. THe only reason I'm looking into this one is because it's cheap.

I ended up spending damn near 2 hours in that store just to exchange my receiver. They wouldn't even give me the one I wanted because they said they had a recall on them so I just got another equal value one. I had to dip and barely made it to work on time and no I'll have to go to a different best buy like 35 minutes out to get the receiver I actually want.

how the hell do I spend almost 2 hours in there for a simple return? what type of customer service is that? I didn't wanna waste a 25 minute drive to that Best Buy for nothing so I sat there like a dumbass with 3 other people who came in right after me.

Why?

Fred.
Because if you change your mind or have any issues you have to pack it up and mail it back.

Because if it breaks on you you have to pack it up and mail it back instead of having a physical location to take it and exchange it the same day.

Because I live alone in an apartment building and work second shift so when they deliver I'm never home and they tend not to leave packages at my door or require signatures for expensive things. I have to put a hold on all my packages and pick them up the next day at UPS or FedEx or get them mailed to my parents house and they're nosy.

Buying stuff online is just a hassle for me.

I worked at best buy. No matter what people will complain. You try and help them you're bothering them. You don't help them they complain to the manager about it. :pachaha:

I've never worked there but my last job was retail. HR would print out customer comments each week and put them in the break room.

You'd always see shyt like "you need to hire more employees because there's never anyone around to help me" and "you need to tell your employees to stop bothering the customer while they're trying to shop".

Straight comedy :russ:
