Yup.... Tech is kicking out the old folks and moving in the millennials at Cisco Securities. My little sister works there and she said her and the other year twos got the day off just so they didn't have to interact with any of the older sales folks getting laid off. Her manager literally said "lay low":mjlol:

Also this is not implicative of how good or bad the tech industry is doing. Transitions happen.

These companies stocks are about to drop, research who is doing layoff, look at their stocks. If they drop, I'm going to go ahead and exploit that.

@klientel breh you good?

my manager sent out a mandatory all hands-on invite yesterday and didn't tell nobody what the topic was, but since the news dropped yesterday, everybody knew. :lupe:

had the call this morning and the nikka said we all good :noah::noah::blessed::blessed:

Yeah we had the all hands-on call a couple days ago and my boss let us know that we will be losing one dude on our team. But rumor is they have been trying to drop that dude for a while now and basically saw this as their chance. But I was still scared as hell. They said 5000 dudes got let go so far....:mjcry:

I work in the Network Engineering industry, it's due to cloud technology. With cloud tech, you have a more elastic network which means less growth, which means more layoffs.

But I am good though, the company I work for is paying for my cyber security college classes:ehh: which is a growing field. I hope to take the cissp by the end of the year then I will get them to pay for my mba :takedat:. You can fire me but I know I am bleeding you dry of all the free training available.
