Who would you rather have Cris Carter or Larry Fitzgerald?

The net hanger of the nfl.

Probably the overwhelming majority of his touchdowns came from inside the 12 yard line or something. Sure he’s a hall of famer but there are WR with significantly fewer receptions and touchdowns I’d prefer to have if I were building a receiver corps.
That doesnt take away shyt :mjlol:

Thats what pays the bills nowadays. The NFL players usually respect the elders

If 2 oldheads clash it could get dangerous 😳
Some older statesmen need to step in and tell them to keep that bullshyt in the nba. I guess this is a natural consequence of having barber talk styled podcasts

I always wonder why Larry Fitzgeral don't have more all-pro selections.

Like Tyreek and Marvin Harison who people usually keep outside of their top 5 have 6 and 8 respectively. While Larry F has 3, only 1 first team.

Is there a reason for why he was top 6 so few times? I never really paid attention to all-pro before I became an internet hawk, for me it was just always Fitzgerald, Mega, and :to:
This is the problem. Larry was Top 6 most of the time. He wasn't Top 4. All-Pro is 2 WR a team...a tie gets a 5th in.

Some combination of
TO
Moss
Marvin
Torry
Andre
Calvin
Reggie
Chad
Steve
Julio (back half)
AB (back half)

And a couple one hit wonders is hard to crack 5+ times.

TYRONE GA!
I don’t see how he overrated? Whenever I hear people talk about the great wideouts he’s rarely mentioned. The like of Rice, Irvin, TO, Moss, Megatron, Harrison, and the list goes on. Almost like arguing about the greatest rapper and someone mentions LL! Yeah you good but not in the same league as the big dawgs lol

LL 100% belongs on GOAT lists.

Don't do that.

Played in a different era when the game was played different than it is today. For his era, Carter was a dawg and I can’t stand the guy…

Y’all might not have seen dude play, boy could run some routes now. He wasn’t “transcendent” but HOF he earned…

Great hands and great boundary receiver

You absolutely cannot shyt on Cris Carter career but then big up Larry Fitzgerald as some generational receiver.

Legit closer players than ppl will admit, Fitz has the benefit of playing in a time where QBs were way more protected and receivers weren’t allowed to get their heads knocked off over the middle
