Bass is honestly the only song of his i'd call a classic. He has a other dope cuts but that one song is the only song that really sticks out for me.
fair enough. It's arguably the strangest and dopest song he's ever recorded.
I don't really get how you can say that when he's just rehashing older themes/sounds. Cherry picking elements from previous generations and amalgamating them into one (granted, cohesive) product isn't really revolutionary, it's what YouTube producers do all day.

I'm gonna need some receipts.
Let's not sit here and pretend like ASAP Rocky's sound is ordinary. It's anything BUT ordinary.
And the most important point: it's not what you do but HOW you do it. The genius in Rocky's execution is in how he does it.
His selling point is his 'swag'. I do like dude and respect what he's doing in regards to different flows on every track, great art direction, etc but it's hard for me to take your stances seriously when you can praise this dude so much but totally discount his forefathers.
Rocky has many forefathers. That's another part of the genius.
Though something tells me you're peeved about my stance on a certain forefather. Which is really what your beef is.
"How dare SirBiatch crown Rocky revolutionary when he shyts on one specific forefather?"
