Asians are going wild and I hope that the Supreme Court does hear this case if only for the fukkery. Are they now saying that there should be some sort of Asian in management quota based on the amount of workers in the field? :mjpls:

They’re really about to get the wake up call because it was one thing going after blacks for college spots but now they’re going after whites for management spots. Are the same firms who supported their anti-affirmative action crusade going to support this one too? :mjpls:

Finally low key this case could get washed on the merits. I don’t know which level of management they’re complaining about being left out of but honestly the higher up the management chain you go the less hard skills are important and there’s a increased reliance on soft skills like how well you can connect with people, motivate a staff, and deescalate potentially volatile situations. A lot of these tech Asians just don’t have people skills and it’s widely known. The problem is that there’s no standardized test to study for and game for that. You can be the best person at doing a job but incapable of managing someone or a team doing the exact same job because of poor people skills. You’ve gotta be an actual person and not just a functionary/cog. :mjpls:
Players and coaches.

Most coaches knew how to play the game but were not gifted enough to be stars. The most talented people often make shytty teachers because they can't train someone with less talent how to be effective.

Do you read? Bc this is exactly what the lawsuit is about. East Asians are complaining they don't get leadership roles only south Asians.

You aks me there's far too many of both of these ass kisses around in the workplace blocking everybody else :hubie: .
Indians in my experience tend to be sharper than East Asians at STEM. They know how to navigate white power structures better and keep their mouths shut.

Bro, india in the last month has basically abandoned russian and Chinese arms in favor of Western ones. It's UP right now.

But yeah...right wing hindu nationalism will shock people because it's so counter to what people think is traditional religion over there.

The strategy is to make each of them just powerful enough to satisfy manufacturing or consumer needs and offset each other.

America realize that they fukked up by making china the world manufacturer. They're not going to make the same mistake with india.

They’re not an ‘ally’ of the US and Indian firms want Chinese FDI/training, especially in the production of technologies like microchips.

My experience working with Indians that moved here from India is that they still recognize that caste system. I remember one Indian didn't like his manager cause he was from a part of India that wasn't as up as his. My experience with the ones that moved over as managers/leading a team isn't great either.

There’s going to be strong data points released that shows that many Asian Americans just aren’t very good leaders.

Many (Particularly the Chinese) are way too cold while also lacking innovation and imagination hence why they don’t make good executives.

There's been studies about this, Asian culture is super rigid and hierarchical, hence why they are great at copying but rarely innovate

Seen them at school. East Asian kids studying all night freaking out about O-Chem, multivariable calc, circuits etc., while the Indian kid that I literally watched play Xbox 360 all day just strolls in and gets an A.

Had a lot of STEM/Business friends that were East and South Asian. The East Asians were good at the grind but the South Asian kids could get the same grades with less effort. They seemed to pick up on shyt faster.....but my experience is purely anecdotal.

Agree on the caste stuff....especially with North and Central Indians

The South Indians (especially Mallus) were always chill as fukk.
