I didn't use the word preference in the context that you did. I said it's common as in you're more likely to see it compared to East Asians. They don't have the same cultural biases because they're on the bottom of the totem pole and looked down upon themselves. That is where preference comes in. They can't come to the states thinking they're better than anyone so dating a black man isn't taboo. I didn't say their preference is black men.

Anyone black who's in a diverse environment and interacted with East vs Southeast Asians can tell you it's a different experience.

In high school the fair skinned Asians sat with the cacs. The brown skinned Asians sat with us. If a brother said he wanted an Asian woman those who know will tell him to go for the brown ones.
