This is why I always bring another person with me to get the deal on cam. Someone I know was buying a car in cash and asked me to come along as a witness. Recorded the whole deal in 720p(best my phone could do at the time ) and I knew going forward that ANY person to person purchase I make needs a witness. I'm not spending 200 without a witness let alone 26k


If they not trying to be on camera during the sale then it's time to go with cash on hand. They basically tell you without telling you "I'm finna scam you, don't put me on blast".

The rental company probably has records of the last person that rented the car. If dude can get a loan he can gamble it all one last time on a lawyer and try to press charges. He might at least get enough back to pay dude he got a loan from.
