But I wouldn't enter a thread that's based itself on intellectuality and spirituality to just say something wasteful. Could've at least googled a sun tzu quote or something my g.

Back in business, bought a book on Chinese philosophy so now I can post things and we can have daily or weekly discussions based upon what's brought to our attention.

The first one I'll post will be from Confucius.


It reads:

"The master barred four (words); - he would have no 'shall's, no 'must's, no 'certainly's, no 'I's.


What is it about these four words that Confucius didn't seem to like? Were they limiting upon a natural flow of things? A cosmic order? Or were they forceful?

Some people will assume because one is Black that they are poor, stupid or uniformed. Let them, for it behooves me not to change their mind. The 'I' is probably banned because it creates the false experience of a self (or else an overstatement of self-importance)? And the others suggest a questionable sense of a moral or epistemological absolute authority by humans which he might feel is impossible to obtain or even might be inconceivable.
