Most of the retail businesses in the hood are very low margin. Grocery, convenience, and food spots are 5-10% profit margin. And a lot of the time it's family run or they use actual illegal immigrants.

These places are not profitable if they had to pay real wages. Not today.
The real money in the hood is check cashing and tax preparation. (And gentrification!).
The low key money are the city workers and academic/social science poverty pimps. They run out of work if the social issues get solved.
But on the real, powerful white companies go to poor white areas, shut down local businesses and then move out. Poor people don't have that much money. Capitalists will capitalize.
What's wrong in the hood is not the 4 dollar wing places.

To me this is a non issue, no one is forcing us to give them business.

They don't have those where I live, unless you talking about the arab stores, yeah, I don't go to those.

If a black person has a good business they are about to open, if they aren't in select areas they will have a hard time succeeding
