No joke fam. I watched My Sassy Girl because of a thread in The Film Room & got this suggestion as well. It was a really good movie. Koreans know how to film drama's.
well we cambodians are one the darker and sexier lookings.asians..... sure there's a lot of fugly cambodians out ther just like there are many fugly ass chinese,korean and viets but you also have to consider how small camboidan population is, so we cambodians actually produce a HIGHER PERCENTAGE of sexy looking asian women.

Having seen many of their classmates punched and beaten all day long, a group of Vietnamese students told teachers they feared walking home.
At the end of the school day Dec. 3, they left South Philadelphia High, backed by a group of adults including the principal, but still dreading what waited outside. Some ran ahead up Broad Street, separating the group of Vietnamese students from their escorts.
In moments, they crossed the street and were surrounded by assailants - mostly African American, but also Cambodian and white youths.
A crowd of more than 100 surrounded the Vietnamese students, who huddled together while dozens of attackers punched, pushed, and kicked them. A Cambodian female, repeatedly cited in the report, was the first to attack and described as the most violent
At 1:30 p.m. that day, a group of Asian and African American students had a verbal confrontation on the second floor of the school and were separated by school police. Afterward, at least two rumors emerged about the cause of the confrontation. One was that during third period "a Cambodian female had 'challenged' a group of three Vietnamese students to a fight."
At 3:15 p.m. that day, an after-school altercation occurred between African American and Asian students, including some who had been involved in the second-floor incident.
One of the victims to come forward publicly was Luu, a 17-year-old immigrant from Vietnam. He was beaten so badly that he vomited.
The report said one rumored assailant in that incident, which ended at a Walgreens store, was the Cambodian girl. The rumor was that "the arms of one of the Vietnamese students were held by African American females while the Cambodian female struck him in the head, rendering him unconscious.
being the sexy asians that we are(cambodians) i cant even imagine a group of african-american students ganging up with the vietnamese and attacking cambodians......its just not gonna happen and you wanna know why that is??..... its because vietnamese on average, are lighter skinned and chinkier in face compared to cambodians and their overall look is just straight up NERDIER than ours, now why would a bunch of black bullies team up with such a NERDY looking race? if youre gonna team up with anyone then it would most likely be with the LESS NERDY,LESS DORKY and sexier looking asians which was in this case the cambodians in south philly high

i agree and thats why people need to stop overrating asian females like they're the hottest race of women second only to white females
at least thats how i feel when i see american/hollywood media or whenever i visit ethnic forums like these that are either predominately black,white or latino....in latino/mexican forums i've been on i see similar kinds of threads and they compliment whites/asians as they do to their own race of women but they usually leave out east indians or blacks in the discussion
its because of hollywood brainwashing - asians only makes up about 5% of the US population but why do we see so many asians playing the female love interests with the white dudes in films? when you grew up seeing images like these all the time in the media, the idea of dating an asian chick probably seems normal , more so with whites and to a lesser extent mexicans but not so much with black-american males
