i'm not from cali but most asian-american girls usually dress and act very similar to middle class whites and have valley girl accents while some are in to hip hop culture

Having seen many of their classmates punched and beaten all day long, a group of Vietnamese students told teachers they feared walking home.

At the end of the school day Dec. 3, they left South Philadelphia High, backed by a group of adults including the principal, but still dreading what waited outside. Some ran ahead up Broad Street, separating the group of Vietnamese students from their escorts.

In moments, they crossed the street and were surrounded by assailants - mostly African American, but also Cambodian and white youths.

A crowd of more than 100 surrounded the Vietnamese students, who huddled together while dozens of attackers punched, pushed, and kicked them. A Cambodian female, repeatedly cited in the report, was the first to attack and described as the most violent

At 1:30 p.m. that day, a group of Asian and African American students had a verbal confrontation on the second floor of the school and were separated by school police. Afterward, at least two rumors emerged about the cause of the confrontation. One was that during third period "a Cambodian female had 'challenged' a group of three Vietnamese students to a fight."

At 3:15 p.m. that day, an after-school altercation occurred between African American and Asian students, including some who had been involved in the second-floor incident.

One of the victims to come forward publicly was Luu, a 17-year-old immigrant from Vietnam. He was beaten so badly that he vomited.

The report said one rumored assailant in that incident, which ended at a Walgreens store, was the Cambodian girl. The rumor was that "the arms of one of the Vietnamese students were held by African American females while the Cambodian female struck him in the head, rendering him unconscious.

I've lived in Philly, I know how those Asians are. They try to be as black as possible to the point that they don't wanna associate with other Asians. Its pretty trippy. they've never been to an area with just normal Asian Americans who aren't white washed or afrocentric.

And the Cambodian & Laos in Philly act like wannna_be blacks. To the point they barely have a unified community. For being such a small population theyre whole cultures gonna be assimilated in a few years.

And second of all Cambodians have one of the lowest median incomes for Asians. They emulate blacks to a tee. Copy their dress, slang, and gangs.

Filipinos income are greatly exaggerated because they live 5 to 15 people in a house. Now add up 10 people making 20k a year which equals a 200k household income. they might have a high household income but they barely getting by individually.

nah the ratios between cambodian males/females dating out seem more balanced to me..... i've known viet girls who dated/married interracially mainly with whites,some mexicans and a few blacks(not married tho) but i barely see viet dudes dating out as nearly as much at the same rate as the females, ocassionally from time time i see them with white women but thats about it
