absolutely, what I'm saying is I would prefer candidates being denied because they tested poorly, to having candidates denied because their name is tyrone... and I stated neither system is great.

Do Asians forget they are minorities? I actually know white girls who complain about affirmative action not realizing they benefit the most for it and blacks benefit the least from it.
Being a minority isnt as debilitating, when you have a strong community like Asians and Jews.

I know. at the end of the day wealth>population. I just don't understand why Asians think minority means "black and Latino" as if they aren't minorities. I guess because they have stereotypes they think white people view them as equals. They'll get their wake up call AGAIN soon.

If that is the case then why do black people fight so hard to keep affirmative action and why do white people fight so hard to get rid of it?
Who cares if they are minorities or not? Why should Asians support policies that hurt them?

Admission should be a pure numbers game.
There shouldn't even be names attached, just test scores IMO
That means that it should be based on merit.....Now riddle me this....what about the public school system, which is the precursor to college, is based solely on merit?

because white liberalism and their creation of affirmitave action has brought black people to an an intelectual dead end
black people have no real ideas or plans on how to get more blacks into harvard besides affirmitvae action, so we hold on to it like a little teddy bear, even though its worthless and outdated
we need to have a brainstorm and come up with new ideas that dont involve white people, AA is doomed to be a waste and worthless because its an idea that is dependent on the graciousness and benovolence of white bureaucrats and it will leave us carrying water for other people
