Then what the fukk are you crying about? The thread asked is Jay-Z number two to Eminem in global rap stardom and I said no Kanye is bigger, then numerous people get their panties in a bunch.
What are you talking about? Who challenged what you said regarding Kanye?
You said people don't fukk with Jay-z cause 50 cent said it. Facts shows that he's huge, platinum albums, sold out tours, headlined festivals and top 10 hits just like in the states. Kanye was bigger than Jay in the UK when he was bigger than Jay in the states 04-07. After that it's been pretty even just like the states.

And UK does not represent global either, it's as big as Cali+New York.

How many of Jay's top 10 UK hits include Kanye in some capacity? How many of Ye's include Jay?

Considering Ye's career is half as long as Jay's you gotta say Kanye's done better.

Kanye's lack of hits these last 5 years has hurt him a little though.

Kanye used to have so much mainstream love in the UK.

You are a fukking moron.

- read the thread title, ASIDE FROM EMINEM IS JAY Z THE BIGGEST GLOBAL RAP STAR
- I referenced what curtis was talking about not that he had any influence over jay's fanbase
- well thank you for letting me know, I was giving you the perspective from the UK

I don't know if you are trolling right now or not, it's impossible to tell.

1.

2. Show the quote where anyone says Kanye is bigger than Jay-z, and you missed a fukking questionmark in your first point.
The thread title is asking if Jay-z is the biggest in the world after Eminem, we focused on the UK and your imbecile ass start rambling about Kanye, no one fukking with Jay-z (contrary to all the facts), people being bytches, butthurt, morons and whatever the fukk.

3. I lived in Warwickshire during my exchange program and interned in London twice, so I've got my own perspective.

1. Nas sold out 3 small venues one of which was "Under the Bridge" which fits 550 people others were The Institute in Birmingham and The Brixton academy which holds 2-3k and after that he performed at O2 with 30 "quid" for a ticket.

Jay-z has 4 shows in London, 2 in Manchester, 1 In Birmingham and 1 in Dublin I don't know why it says something else.
He shows no love to Scotland though.

The only other city which gets 2 shows is Brooklyn.

And according to the information about T in The Park, he performed at the mainstage just just before the last act on the Sunday. And his name was the "2nd biggest" after the ones that closed the main stage (Em, Kasabian and Muse).

The point is that you can't use 1 festival in Scotland in which he didn't headline, (but was ranked like #4-6 due to an English band which have headlined the festival like 3 times and never moved any records outside of England snubbing him). And not care about him selling out 4 shows in London like nothing, 2 in Manchester.. Headlined multiple other festivals in the UK, just headlined 3-4 Festivals over there this summer.

The small shows wasnt promoted and were just intimate shows, he did o2 Arena in London and 2 other arenas in Birmingham and Manchester. My ticket was £40 And that's the standard ticket prices over here for a single show.

See Eminem in Dublin 3 weeks ago 90k people was £80 a ticket but had Yelawolf, Chance, Slaughterhouse, Earlwolf and Plan B supporting.

Wireless is a more commercial festival 3 days no camping and headlined With JT, rumours in 2004(?) Eminem refused to perform there because they wanted to censor lyrics.

What other festivals did he headline tho? Its not hard to sell out 4 shows in London that's still about 45k if its 15000 max. Dr Dre/Snoop, 50 Cent and probably Kanye from a non hiphop POV would sell that easily.

Only put Nas in because he isn't as Known as Jay is as in commercial success and still sells out arenas

He did O2 once and small venues in Birmingham, London and Manchester (2-3k).
The arenas he's doing are 16-20k and it's 8 shows, so if they sell out it's 130-160k in the UK.
O2 is 20k, so that's 80k.

He headlined Hackney (Radio1), Wireless, Glastonbury, Oxegen, Isle of Wight and probably a few more.. These are if I understand correct also the biggest general festivals in the UK? Or at least the most known.

When did I say nobody fuks with Jay? Setting up strawman arguments aren't cool. When I said nobody checks for him like that, I implied that he isn't on the obvious superstar celebrity level he enjoys in the US not that people don't know who he is.

I'm sure you got a great perspective of the culture living in Warwickshire tho :mjpls:

Whatever the fukk you say, what Jay has in the US, he has in the UK.
Platinum albums, big hits, sold out tours, headlining festivals, dikksucking radio dj's, dikkriding TV personalities and nowadays #1 albums.

And lol @ people not knowing who he is, UK is not Bulgaria, motherfukkers are informed.
Paparazzi in the UK for Jay is probably the worse than it is in the US, although that might be true for most American superstars.

Jay started focusing hardbody on UK when he left Def Jam and did his own thing. Got Calvin Harris, Rita Ora and K Koke. Started doing TV instead of just Tim Westwood, pushing his records to pop radio, commercials, magazines etc. The probability of meeting a person between 15 and 35 and this person not knowing Jay-z is infinitesimal. If not for his own work/brand, they would know him for his wife.

I really think jay doing 8 shows in the uk which only has 20% of the USA population shows dude is massive there...and since bp3 dude has had big hits and albums there as well.

On a side note back in his prime em did 3 back to back shows at the rose bowl 60k each. Dude is in a league of his own.

But I still think the facts showJay as #2 for the past while

Noones saying people don't need who he is, hes on the Radio with songs with Rihanna, Beyoncé etc.

Hackney weekend isn't that big its a free festival. Wireless is a kiddy festival. Don't know about IOW its just an island off main land never been or heard of anyone gone.

If Dre/Snoop said were doing 8 shows in the UK It would sell out instantly. A lot of the fans will be kids 14-17 who have only heard BP3 and the radio hits anyway.

Eminem just did 3 shows at 90k each and 3 massive festivals no one else is touching that anyway.

T In The Park, he headlined Glasto years ago, wanted a rap artist for the first time obviously Eminem wasn't about and at the time there probably wasn't anyone else that big available.

BTW Nas sold out all those venues too
No Nas didn't, we've been through this. There were literally articles on it. Eminem, Kanye, Jay and Wayne are the world's biggest rap stars. Stop.

I really can't imagine nas selling out a 20k arena outside the USA but that is amazing for him if he did
