Before junior high school, i used to hang out with mostly white and brown kids but I never had much fun with them. In junior high i met a lot of black kids from the hood and I enjoyed hanging out with them because they seemed like realer people. Their humor appealed to me. I was one of like 3 people in my entire grade to watch the premiere of chappelle show. But in hanging out with black people I experienced more racism than ive ever encountered in my entire life. What i've found is.......Y'all think it is okay to call us terrorists and shyt, and make fun of our religions. Make fun of our language and my gods. Make fun of the way we are supposed to smell (even though I be fresher than a motherfukker).... and much much more. When I went to visit my family in Fiji i encountered a terrible amount of racism from the natives against indians.


What i cant understand is why black people are so racist when theyve encountered so much of it themselves, i love yall and a lot fo your guys culture but that shyt always has me like

but i guess its cause nobody treats yall right so you must just hate everyone else.

i dont dwell on this type of shyt even though I know its true, because it distracts from the essential points of game.

I try telling these cats, how hypocritical it is when they cry about racism, yet say some offensive slur like c@c every two seconds.

M3h depends on upbringing. The underlining factor is whether or not they grew up in a heterogeneous society or a homogenous society. From my personal experience race, never really became an issue until junior high. I think at point, it was visible that we (blacks ) were a bit different than others.

It's nothing against you breh, our brand of humor is just more personal and aggressive we don't adhere to any boundaries, anything is game, with any race and even with each other. I hung out with mostly Blacks and Latinos and we stayed cracking on each others race,talking about each other, how they look, and they're families and shyt, and to people not from where we're from that shyt would look crazy since it was accompanied by all them laughs. And as long as you weren't white, you were cool to hurl shyt back. When it comes to race, I think at least most of us were aware that it was just stereotypes and generalizations though on at least a subconscious level, and that's what made it okay to crack jokes; because these stereotypes were already ridiculous to begin with.

I tell you this though, if anybody got extra sensitive and we sensed malice behind their words, they where probably getting their ass beat.

I ain't gonna lie though, I used to get arabs and indians confused too when I was kid We ain't know better, not too many Indians in the hood, so our exposure to the culture in general is limited, another reason why you gotta expect some ignorance and generalizations.
