:manny:

Before junior high school, i used to hang out with mostly white and brown kids but I never had much fun with them. In junior high i met a lot of black kids from the hood and I enjoyed hanging out with them because they seemed like realer people. Their humor appealed to me. I was one of like 3 people in my entire grade to watch the premiere of chappelle show. But in hanging out with black people I experienced more racism than ive ever encountered in my entire life. What i've found is.......Y'all think it is okay to call us terrorists and shyt, and make fun of our religions. Make fun of our language and my gods. Make fun of the way we are supposed to smell (even though I be fresher than a motherfukker).... and much much more. When I went to visit my family in Fiji i encountered a terrible amount of racism from the natives against indians.

What i cant understand is why black people are so racist when theyve encountered so much of it themselves, i love yall and a lot fo your guys culture but that shyt always has me like :wtf:

but i guess its cause nobody treats yall right so you must just hate everyone else.
Well said *daps*

Why do your ppl change the topic when the Mauryan Dynasty is brought up? Is it a negative that originally those ppl in that region had blood of african descent? You don't need to be a rocket scientist to break down the word 'Mauryan'.

there's a lot of strange politics about the genetic history of indians

for me it's mostly :manny: it's no secret that there's dozens of ethnicities mixed in the subcontinent and the whole question of who came from where seems like a coded way to talk about superiority & inferiority in civilizations, etc which is all mostly nonsense to me

people are people

that said, the research is always interesting and I'll be interested to see how it all shakes out

I've actually never looked into it but I've been curious about it for awhile now.

I should sometime soon.

i love indian folks

but gotdamn some of the shyt yall cook smells up my apartment hallways :scusthov: what is that shyt?

and ive noticed when im walking my dog, indian folks get shook like :merchant: and move out the way hella fast. whatsup with that? do you guys not like dogs or white people?

That smell is tharka which is used in a few Indian dishes. It is literally one of the strongest smells in the world and it reeks like shyt most of the time. It is the reason neighborhoods with a lot of Indian people can smell awful. The smell gets into your clothes and might explain why some Indians smell so bad. That plus a lot of body hair and some newer immigrants not usually practicing hygiene to a western standard :merchant:

Most Indian food doesn't smell like that and is pretty damn good.

i use it now occasionally if i make curry chicken. growing up mom my would have the whole house smelling like it tho like we were indians... :scusthov: i would tell her she wasn't allowed to cook curry chicken or curry goat on days i just did laundry.

Pretty af.
Does anyone know anything about the hair trade in India? Ever since I found out how much women are paying for 3.5 oz, I have been on a mission to get the best connect... I'm saving for a trip to get that sacred temple hurr....
