I got Cox thinking about switching to Direct TV they say I will save money since me and my wife got ATT cellphones but need to keep cox for internet. I just havent done the math yet and dont like the fact that its a two year contract. Right now we pay about 230 for cable, internet, phone (we dont use the phone but its part of the package) bundle

I'm not sure exactly right now but in my situation I am grandfathered into unlimited data but my wife is not so he was saying by me switching to directtv I can throw my wife on unlimited data preventing the overage cost she gets like every other month since her job started blocking certain things on wifi and we would get a discount for combing the bill, and I guess directtv cable packages are naturally a few dollars less then cox. I'll be doing the math tonight now that yall got it back on my mind.

You had to go into any smelly houses?

You had to go into any tight spots?

I sold DirecTV for an internship in college, of course we tell you that you gon save money :pachaha:

They do a kinda sorta bundle with AT&T, but if they set up the contracts the same as when I was there, you'll get 2 years but the first year is discounted pricing. It would usually be around 90-100 with a great channel package, along with 3 months free of some premium channels like HBO,, but after that first year the price shoots up almost double,, so you may go from 90 to 180 real quick.

I encourage you to read the whole contract, and if you have a sales guy currently trying to get you, I'd question him up and down, leave no stone unturned cause DirecTV, lIke all these cable companies, ultimately just want to finesse you

Have you even gone to install some cable and someone's house was just levels of filthy? You ever had to go cut somebody cable off & got cussed out? Is that how it works? Idk my parents pay their bills. Share some fukkery stories.
Yeah, I want to read some cray stories.

Side note, my friend delivered and installed big screen TVs in the 90s, when that was the in-thing for people with money (like Sony trinitron or projection TVs). Him and his co-worker walk in this one apartment and they had a lot of mirrors on every wall, everywhere. Yeah, they were gay dudes.
Once they installed the TV, they left ASAP.

I get comcast cable and internet. It's not the greatest but I didn't want to switch to DishTV.

People have horror stories about customer service, but when it comes to Internet service, it's been pretty good, I'm in IT so I did a lot of research getting my modem working when I had issues so that I was half-way to fixing the issue before calling customer service.

Is it true that y'all can only go back a couple of months on an account to see if y'all were overcharging someone? I found out that Comcast had been charging me for dvr services for over a year but dude was like " I can only give you credit for the past 2 months" :stopitslime:
Also, my dad has direct tv. He always calls to bytch and they give him all kinds of free HBO, stars, etc for months at a time. Will that work if I try that with Comcast? :feedme:

How big was the jump? I'm looking into them now. If it doesn't jump significantly until after the contract I might keep them for two years then switch back to cable when it jumps and be eligible for whatever promotion they have then.\ Did you have any issues while you were with DirectTV?

Don't. Dish TV is trash! My momma only stuck with it for their fukking Hallmark channel package & fukking OWN Network. Although I didn't pay the bill, I never liked it. Now we have Xfinity, I know their expensive but their internet is :blessed:. We used to have :flabbynsick:AT&T 'high speed' Internet.
