Said it before and i'll say it again: Hiphop culture as a whole needs to take a hard look at itself and cleanse itself and stop celebrating negativity. This is what encourages fools like this to to portray this lifestyle and sometimes cross the line in hopes of selling records.

Black people in america need to start drawing the line between black culture and hiphop and street/hood culture and disassociate it with blackness. Not everything thats hiphop is black. Not everything thats "hood" is a black thing. Not everything that's hiphop is a black thing. Not everything that's street is a black.

It makes me sick sometimes when I meet some young black kids who come from good, educated, and even prominent black american families YET try so hard to identify themselves as "hood" and mimic the fukery just so they can claim they have "street cred".
You're fukkin' better than that.
Your fukkin parents worked hard to put you in a position to be better than the hood. Why you need hood recognition, hood pass or street cred will never make sense to me.
