Black people in america need to start drawing the line between black culture and hiphop and street/hood culture and disassociate it with blackness. Not everything thats hiphop is black. Not everything thats "hood" is a black thing. Not everything that's hiphop is a black thing. Not everything that's street is a black.

It makes me sick sometimes when I meet some young black kids who come from good, educated, and even prominent families YET try so hard to identify themselves as "hood" and mimic the fukery just so they can claim they have "street cred".

Your fukkin parents worked hard to put you in a position to be better than the hood. Why you need hood recognition, hood pass or street cred will never make sense to me.
I tell you one thing, I would ring my children's necks if they every tired to emulate nikka culture. Especially since they're not cut from that type of cloth.

I was gonna make a thread asking why are rappers still making gangster rap now a days when the biggest cats selling don't even rap about street shyt? Gangster rap is on its last commercial legs.
