This game is making me realize how fun GoT gameplay was. Like @Fatboi1 said, this is serviceable. But something about the combat on GoT had you pulling up on everyone like :demonic:

Maybe Yasuke is on that type of time but I haven't unlocked him yet

To be fair, I haven't even unlocked Yasuke yet, nor other weapons (about to get the Kurisama in my next mission). It takes a lot to get a lil bit in this game IMO, due to how exhaustive they make these games, I suppose. I'm like 14 hours in and am only just to this point. Probably doesn't help it any of how they lock off tiers of new abilities for each category. But yeah, knowing of the other weapons on top of that, I ain't gone hold you, you liable to be right about it being that much better than TW3 combat, for sure.

How are yall having these strong ass opinions and haven't unlocked the OTHER character yet :gucci:

Admittedly it's gotten better since getting the kurisama. And I'm going off of comparative pacing for one thing. 14 hours into most games of this ilk, one would have naturally unlocked more abilities and capabilities. I stated a bit into that earlier.

But yeah, combat DEFINITELY is better than Witcher 3, lol. I can see that clearly now.

Witcher 3 is 10 years old.

The same could be said for old ass Skyrim :russ:

Everybody knows Witcher 3 ain't known for its combat.

While far from perfect, Combat in GoT on Lethal was the perfect blend of arcade and skill based, imo. It wasn't Souls Like, but you also were getting washed if you just spammed buttons and didn't approach with some discipline & knowledge of what form was more effective vs a specific enemy. You killed enemies in two or three hits and they could take you down just as easily. It felt balanced and fair.

I'm playing on Expert on Shadows, and I hate how spongy enemies are. The combat is much more enjoyable than anything they've done in years and I'm sure Yasuke is a tank, but there's still room for improvement. That said, I'm loving it and never play AC strictly for combat.

I had some audio bug last night in Sakai where there was barely any ambient sounds nor NPC voices. It felt eerily
silent which I know was odd because I was standing in front of the Portuguese guy preaching by the dock and there was no sound.

Found a fix

I hope Ubisoft adds the same later on. I can still die as Yasuke, but I gotta really mess up and be surrounded by a bunch of Elites and ranged enemies.
Naoe gets eaten alive unless I'm really paying attention though :mjlol:

Just fired this up but gonna wait and finish the rest of my backlog. Game is gonna be getting updated with improved version of pssr along with rt reflections being added to performance mode.

With PS5 Pro specifically, why are RT reflections are present in quality mode but not in balanced mode?

RT reflections were developed after the initial delay to AC Shadows. Given the shift in our release window, we wanted to make sure we remained competitive on high-end PCs and PS5 Pro. We had an extremely motivated team that had learned a lot developing the RTGI solution, and felt confident in achieving the objective of shipping RT reflections with a 30fps performance target on Pro. For launch, our priority was quality mode specifically to ensure it didn't prompt graphical artefacts or other issues. We've continued to optimise RT reflections and the game in general, and we're happy to say that a future update will enable RT reflections on PS5 Pro's balanced mode.

Above in this tech breakdown article

Naoe is very much "stick and move "

If you can land 2 to 4 shots, back away and wait for the enemy to do a combo before jumping back in. She's better dodging/running than deflect/parry.

Archers are annoying as fukk.

Very much, I actually use prone a lot, even in combat.

Run around a few corners, hop in the bushes and let them run past.

Leap up, assassinate the straggler, then dash away into some more bushes or a rooftop.
Makes me cackle how you can go in a circle, up some stairs, out the window, assassinate, run back up the stairs again, repeat. Random ass soldier screaming. "WHERE IS SHE?!? :damn:"
