This game is making me realize how fun GoT gameplay was. Like @Fatboi1 said, this is serviceable. But something about the combat on GoT had you pulling up on everyone like
Maybe Yasuke is on that type of time but I haven't unlocked him yet
To be fair, I haven't even unlocked Yasuke yet, nor other weapons (about to get the Kurisama in my next mission). It takes a lot to get a lil bit in this game IMO, due to how exhaustive they make these games, I suppose. I'm like 14 hours in and am only just to this point. Probably doesn't help it any of how they lock off tiers of new abilities for each category. But yeah, knowing of the other weapons on top of that, I ain't gone hold you, you liable to be right about it being that much better than TW3 combat, for sure.
Hot diggity dog this shyt is TRASH. Boy I would've been heated spending $80 on this
How are yall having these strong ass opinions and haven't unlocked the OTHER character yet![]()
Admittedly it's gotten better since getting the kurisama. And I'm going off of comparative pacing for one thing. 14 hours into most games of this ilk, one would have naturally unlocked more abilities and capabilities. I stated a bit into that earlier.
But yeah, combat DEFINITELY is better than Witcher 3, lol. I can see that clearly now.
Go say that on the subreddit, you'll be downvoted to bolivia.Witcher 3 is 10 years old.
The same could be said for old ass Skyrim
Everybody knows Witcher 3 ain't known for its combat.
While far from perfect, Combat in GoT on Lethal was the perfect blend of arcade and skill based, imo. It wasn't Souls Like, but you also were getting washed if you just spammed buttons and didn't approach with some discipline & knowledge of what form was more effective vs a specific enemy. You killed enemies in two or three hits and they could take you down just as easily. It felt balanced and fair.
I'm playing on Expert on Shadows, and I hate how spongy enemies are. The combat is much more enjoyable than anything they've done in years and I'm sure Yasuke is a tank, but there's still room for improvement. That said, I'm loving it and never play AC strictly for combat.

Naoe is very much "stick and move "I hope Ubisoft adds the same later on. I can still die as Yasuke, but I gotta really mess up and be surrounded by a bunch of Elites and ranged enemies.
Naoe gets eaten alive unless I'm really paying attention though![]()
Very much, I actually use prone a lot, even in combat.Naoe is very much "stick and move "
If you can land 2 to 4 shots, back away and wait for the enemy to do a combo before jumping back in. She's better dodging/running than deflect/parry.
Archers are annoying as fukk.
Unlocking the parry counter attack for the katana changes everything to me. I can go toe to toe more until it gets too dicey. She's better dodging/running than deflect/parry.
