Some of the gameplay action looked rough, as if the animations and locomotion weren't smooth. And if that's truly meant to be on the PS5 Pro then it's lacking

It's not that it looks bad, just off. This probably won't make sense, but it looks to me the same way Far Cry games feel to play - no matter how high and stable the frame rate, it FEELS gritty/rough to play. Same. I love Stealth. Didn’t play AC Valhalla but Unity, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey and Mirage had pretty good stealth gameplay. The stealth looks good so far in AC Shadows too, friendHey I'm simple... Give me some nikkas to sneak up on and murk and I'm good. Ain't look bad

Ubisoft used to take genuine pride in this franchise despite its faults and shortcomings. This was the same company in 2012 that was once bold enough to call out the hypocrisy of the American Revolution, Founding Fathers, and all the romanticized Tea Party BS that was circling at that time. Even goes out of their way to highlight this when Connor calls out dudes like Samuel Adams and even has him witness chattel slavery happen before his eyes along with his village displaced.

if skull and bones was developed at the same time and ended up dogwater using literally the same foundational work, then why is anyone surprised with this? and its not a coincidence that the spiraling company that's dodging racism and sexism allegations in their workplace going back years suddenly decides its conveniently diverse to get sympathy engagement either
