Finally back at it after not playing for a few days. No mention so far of modern day or Basim at all, does that change as the game goes on or do I need to temper my expectations?

Kusarigama is a game changer.
Went west, past Osaka up into some mountain range. Came across some higher level crazy dude standing alone in the forest. No idea on his level because it was just a skull. Probably in the 20's based on the area.
He just "caw caws" and shyt like a bird. Down the hill there's a fancy loot box not far from a couple of dead bodies. The kusarigama packs a good punch and has more range than a katana. Very fast too. Came in handy finding that mini boss that's part of Onryo missions. He's not too far from there in Nanatsumatsu.

The same thing just happened to me I chopped off his head. He stood up and started making coughing noises with no head.I assassinated a dude and he stood straight up like undertaker. Full health bar but not fighting.
Got desynchronized while scanning the area from a viewpoint.

Naoe can deflect red attacks under the Katana tree from the right side.
I'm tossing reviewers in the bushes from now on because of this game's reception. These games are getting too big for them to really see everything and take in the video game as a whole. Gotta "finish" it ASAP. But I digress.
Show me some gameplay for a few minutes and I'll decide form there.

Came in to say the same thing. Game was kinda of a chore for me until I got it, and then everything just started clicking. Now it feels like an AC game.

i was watching reviews like before you buy and the comments are hating hard, i'm assuming because of the main character. shyt is crazy when you think about it, these same people say racism doesn't exist, but then get mad because one of the main characters is black.

Best AC game in a long time and it's not even close

I was worried we wouldn't get a chance to see Yasuke becoming Yasuke but damn glad I was proven wrong.

Lady Oichi love quest is pointless, you don't get her in the end
Temper. Modern day is there in snippets and the data vault, but so far isn't in your face. At least during my 40 hours so far.
