I like the teppo for the aesthetic like wear it with that outfit in the pics give off a samurai western feel to the game.

Agreed.

You can use the bow to shoot down bells at castles and big forts. Also helps take out weaker patrolling enemies.

Katana/naginata/kanabo can handle everything else.
