Time to level up brehs and brehettes....

:blessed:

1. Spend your energy on things that matter to you.

Ask yourself what you value rather than just doing things because you are supposed to. This is your
life, and there is nothing that you must do. Everything is a choice, even when you think it is not.

2. Don’t be afraid of change.
So many of us look at our current situation as being permanent, when the only thing that is guaranteed in life is change.

Move with the flow of life rather than resisting it. Be ready to move on when it is time.

3. See judgment for what it is.
When you do something different, it is likely that you will face criticism. But understand that other people’s words mean nothing about you.

When someone criticizes or judges your choices, they are only showing their own misunderstanding. It is an insecure person who judges another person’s choices.

4. Rethink “success.”

“Success” is an arbitrary term, with no meaning on its own. What is the point in being “successful” if it is at the expense of your own happiness? Spending less time working and worrying about material gain can free up your energy for things that really matter to you.

5. Don’t be a slave to “security.”
I have met so many people who live mediocre lives, because they think that their situation is “secure.” And yet this is an illusion. Anyone can lose a job at any time, and limiting your experience in order to try and avoid this does not make any sense.

Trust in your own ability to problem-solve, rather than allowing fear to prevent you from taking risks.

6. Don’t be afraid of failure.

Just like “success,” “failure” is also an arbitrary term that has no meaning. Trial and error is how we inherently learn, so making mistakes will be inevitable.

Things might not always go as planned, and you may change your course as you go. This is all a part of the process and nothing to worry about.

7. Don't buy the latest in fashion and electronics. Wait until it is not a fad anymore and drops price by 50%.
Ask yourself "Is this new computer going to improve my life or is this new shirt going to change my life?". This is your money. Make it go farther.

8. Stop spending hours and hours jagging off to porn.

Ask yourself "How much of my time am I wasting where I could be doing something more productive?". This is your life. Stop wasting and seek help.

5 and 6 I been following for years. That safe STEM job ain't shyt in the age of automation where machines will take away skilled jobs.

You got it wrong bruh. The people with the STEM jobs arent the ones doing work that can be replaced by machines, they are the ones designing the machines, writing the programs, and laying out the factories the machines will work in.

Yeah, and they need less workers as years go by when tools improve, on top of lowering wages when more people and competition comes in.

Business ownership > being Tony Stark for a lower age than a garbageman

Tools dont improve on their own.

The good thing about the STEM sector is not everyone has the mental capacity to enter the field. Its not like your average high school C student is all of a sudden going to earn his masters in Biomedical Engineering.
