Astronomers detect 15 signals from a distant galaxy

The galaxy they were detected in is 3 billion light years away.

It's numbers and distances like that that make me believe that humanity will never encounter intelligent alien life.

A complete waste of resources, money and time. We will never reach these other places so why spend all that money to look for life?

if a planet the size of jupiter was orbiting tabby's star and was between us and the star, way less than 1% of the light would be blocked.
no one can explain a 20% dimming.
it's not asteroids, dust or planets.
none of those things have the ability to block that much light.

scientists are baffled.
