breh nobody takes those bandwagon red sox fans seriously. they were the go to team for the everyday cac in the early 2000s. they show up everywhere. plus its not to this extent. this was literally a home game (70-75%) rangers fans at the games this series. this was yankees in their prime visiting the lowly rays in tampa and all the retired jews from ny coming out. houston pitchers were getting booed checking the runner on 1st.Come on breh.
Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Dallas styling on Houston when it come to pro sports.
But lets not act as if the Ballpark in Arlington doesn't turn into Fenway Park when they play the Red Sox. There are probably as many Red Sox fans in DFW, as there are Rangers fans.

Houston is a football city. Astros are cool but lets be real, they suck and have been for damn near a decade. Other than for the Texans, Houston is most def a bandwagon city. nikkas won't show up unless they have a reason to.
I don't think people get it tho. Back in 94 when Dream was hurting feelings, nikkas wasnt even fans like that but they loved watching him give cats the blues.

I follow the Astros everyday. I can't watch them thanks to Comcast. If the Astros had a decent bullpen they would actually have won 10 more games or more. They blow late leads every damn game it seems

Astros tickets are also pretty expensive compared to the product they're putting out. I don't really want to pay $70 to sit on the first/third base line to see this AAA-equivalent squad. You're basically paying to only see the other team

You aren't wrong about the Bluejays fans in Seattle. Everytime the Bluejays come to town they come in droves. Being that the Bluejays are Canada's only team I think there are a lot of fans who live in or around Vancouver and know the only way they'll see them play is when they come to Seattle.
As a Seattle native why would I want to go support the Mariners?

Fair enough. The King does get love. I just think people are sick of the Mariners as the owners are terrible, the GM is terrible and the product has been terrible for the last decade. Not to mention the Mariners were trying to keep the NBA from coming back to Seattle which didn't sit well with a lot of fans.

Being an Astro fan is enough embarrassment
