Most people are average... that includes you OP

Instead of crying about not having become a famous millionaire, take stock in all the good things you have. You could have been born in a war torn country, you could have been born disabled, you could have been born into poverty, you could have not been born at all :francis: You have a life, you have your health, you have some kind of way to sustain yourself, you have your sanity etc etc you have a lot. Focus on what you have instead of what you don't
:scust:I see what you saying, but as a dude in his position as well, that mindset lead to a lot of mediocre years. No better time to get some ambition than now.
Only thing to be thankful for is the ability to acquire more reasons to be thankful.

I'm not an employee and will never be one. Either way, let go of your ego and accept that there is very little that you can control.

That's the shortsighted and immature way of looking at it. You can keep believing that we're all here for some special purpose. You're free to do so after all. :manny:

As long as you can control yourself, that is all you need to reach all your capabilities in this world.

People who cant (People who don't want to) will always feel weak and powerless.

What are we calling mediocre? :dahell:

You don't need anything more than your health and financial security to be happy and live a fulfilling life. You brehs are too focused on status and materialism.... there's always gonna be someone richer and more popular than you. So what? Aren't there more important things in life?

All you woe is me nikkas make me sick to my stomach
Yep

"O my GOD! I have to WORK for A COMPANY! I'm not a FAMOUS MILLIONAIRE!"

This is one of the reasons why the rest of the world hates America. People have no perspective. OP has no idea how many people would literally KILL for his life. The fact that he even has the time to sit around and pontificate about not being Richard Branson is a luxury he doesn't appreciate.

Like the OP said life is short.... way too fukking short to sit around crying about shyt you don't have that 99.999999999999999999999999999999999% of other people don't either. Crying about meaningless shyt like money and status.

Nah, B. Most average people, are on the bubble as far as financial security, and their health is typically tied to the lifestyle they live. Hand in hand. A lot of us youngn's want to do more
than penny pinch and talk about "At least I have XXX". Nah fukk that, we want more. Nothing wrong with the hunger for more, and not even on some competitive shyt. Its for us. Some of
us aren't happy with just-above-minimum living.

I'm 22 OP and it's hard as hell for me to find a job. Just so, I can get on my feet and go back to college. I was just told yesterday at the temp service that my last two jobs didn't mean I have experience moving things at a warehouse :snoop: This is what I do, I keep looking up and still try to find work :manny: Bruh, you just have to plan ahead man. For me, public service and helping people makes me happy. Like others said, money is important, but being filthy rich still may not make you happy.

No, you chose to be another employee number, you weren't born into it.

The power of choices.
This is mostly bullshyt and this is coming from someone who was born into poverty and is doing extremely well for himself. Most people don't leave the class that they are born into and it has little to do with hard work or choices.
I got to where I'm at mostly due to an aligning of the stars and receiving more than a few lucky breaks. And anyone who is self aware and honest will admit that.

Exactly, yes you can have perspective and be grateful for what you have but that does not mean aspiring for me is a bad thing. To me those throwing around that rhetoric are weak and cowardly, so because I have working limbs I should call it a day and coast for the rest of my life.

You want more what? More money? What would you do with it? Buy more bullshyt and still stay stressed out living on that financial bubble?

Dawg I know from personal experience.... money doesn't matter as much as people think. The only thing that changes... or at least SHOULD change.... when you get more money as that you don't worry about it as much. shyt like my marriage, my health, my relationships, my control over my time are way more important than stuff. I think there is something wrong with materialism. I like my toys but I still lived a fulfilling life when I couldn't afford + didn't have them, and I would not cry or lose myself if I had to let them all go. You nikkas think a new whip or something is the key to happiness.... naw, you gotta go deeper than that. There are plenty of miserable rich people because they don't focus on what matters.

I don't think anyone said aspiring is bad. We need to nail down exactly what people mean when they say they want more. More what?
