Which is sad because they did not choose who represents them but i am not about to have some overall sympathy for this situation. The parents of these kids most likely voted for the people that decided warning systems were a liberal boondoggle AND will still vote for the people and party that made this possible.

Blame the youngsters. He slanted his entire campaign towards getting out and talking to them and damn near begging them to vote. I know because I was an organizer on my campus. And how did that workout? Some of the most embarrassing statistics ever. A damn near 20 percentage point decrease from ‘20 (which was an outlier year itself) and 17 percentage points less than ’24. 27% of voting eligible 18-27 yr olds even wanted to get off their ass to go vote. But then will hop on whatever social platform and complain about age limits. Why when you won’t even push away from your keyboard to vote unlike older folks?

Maybe it's just me but Allred just seemed to campaign on "I"m not Rafael Edward Cruz" and that definitely ain't working in the places he needed to vote for him. He underperformed in Harris & Bexar counties. shyt, he barely won Tarrant county. But numbers were down across the state as far as turnout

Either people didn’t pay attention to politics back in 2019 or they just have short/selective memory, because for awhile Trump blew off Covid then had the shyt happen on his watch and basically transformed the country into a wasteland immediately instead of actually listening to warnings and planning a proper transition.
Notice our society is the only one thats gotten noticeably worse in every way since Covid happened on his watch.
